The English are the most crass race on the planet.
That stated, who but the English would employ Alec Baldwin in another gun firing movie after Alec Baldwin murdered a young woman and then was being sued by the family of the murdered woman as they apparently have had it with the fakery of Alec Baldwin in this murder fiasco.
Baldwin lamented this was the first time he has worked since the murder. It should be noted that the murdered woman has not had much work either to support her young son.
What I do not quite understand in this, is what insurance company is underwriting 97 Minutes as the premiums must be through the roof with Baldwin on set. What happens if another woman is shot or some fan on the street as Alec Baldwin is once again not pulling the trigger?
This is even worse than Hollywood typical FU to the public in making disgusting pictures of Jesus, portraying Blacks and Latins as criminals, Women like to be abused and raped and of course Whites are always racists with Bibles and guns. For any movie to employ Baldwin expects a fan base larger than Baldwin has. No publicity is good publicity when it comes to being attached to Baldwin. He is a pariah.
If Baldwin had any sort of human side to him, he would have requested in six weeks after the murder of this woman, for her husband with legal representation to sit down for " a way to make amends for a situation which can not be fixed".
Baldwin is worth 61 million dollars. The movie had to have insurance. Baldwin in a less emotional period when he was not blaming everyone but himself, and was assisting authorities, should have made an offer to ask the husband what he thought was an appropriate compensation for the death of his wife without ever meaning to put a price tag on the dead woman's life.
The husband seemed like a normal human, meaning he was not going to take Baldwin for all he had, and then make sure Bladwin paid more in kidney blood and sperm donations. If the husband had said 40 million, Baldwin should have said he would do it. Baldwin could transfer property, stocks and whatever to this murdered woman's family. He could have put it into a trust of some kind and probably received and IRS deduction, and Baldwin would have left it as a full disclosure agreement so the world would know he did all he could and he was sorry.
That would have ended this, made Baldwin look like a stand up guy, and he could have worked at high salary and recouped most of that 40 million in the next 7 years.
Instead you have Alec Baldwin looking even more horrible. Laughing and living his life in England, having fled the country, not willing to pay for a murdered woman's life or death. That kind of karma he is sowing can not be good and karma comes back to pay.
There are signs in this from the meltdown of his lovely wife firing off at the press, that she nor the children are with Bladwin on this new work venture. She does not want to be around her husband as the stigma is being whispered close enough to her, that a woman is dead, her husband acts like an ass, and she flamed out in the worst possible way for the world to see.
It would be right if karma left Baldwin without a pot to piss in. Honestly, he is about as talentless as Chevy Chase. Rob Reiner and that entire group of grumpy old men who Hollywood pimped and rewarded for being liberals. His wife could take half the fortune. The murdered woman's family the other half, and Baldwin like that other pompous ass, Robert DeNiro could be bitching about being forced to work as old men paying the bills.
Why these producers wanted Baldwin anywhere near movie they were sinking 7 million dollars into that Baldwin Black Hole is a riddle wrapped in a mystery. Movie about terrorists where Baldwin probably plays the Interpol hero is just stupid. Anyone who watches this movie is going to be thinking Baldwin murdered a woman and he is being rewarded.
