When I came across the command of General Mark Clark as related by Vernon Walters when he served under him in Italy, I appreciated the attention to detail of this Englishman. I am of the vintage on the mother's side of Clarke with an E. I rather frown at those "Clark's" who have not an E. Even as a I rather frowned at the "me cousins" of the mother's side who I would have all knocked in the head and done the world a favor. I did like Gram though. Could not say her daughter or my Auntie liked her, but she smiled at me a few times, never talked to me, but it was more than I got out of those cold fish females I was birthed from.
The point in this is. I am both Saxon and Prussian. I do not tolerate half assed as I got my chewed for less than perfect by the old man and baby sister I will tell you that when I did things perfect, I only got silence.
As the old man would say, "Do it right the first time as it takes twice as long to do it wrong".
That is why when I read how General Mark Clark ran 5th Army, I appreciated it. I expect this kind of getting things done. When I tell someone to do something, by God, I expect it done and done right the first time. I don't have to check on it, don't have to second guess. When I tell you to do something I expect it done and that means responsibility that I do not have to check on what was done.
I remember fishing with my brother. We loaded his boat, I strapped it down, and that son of a bitch, moved the fucking straps a half inch, just to fucking put his Goddamn fingers onto something to fiddle with it, due to his anal ass side. That was Gram Lydia, she was some German type that to this day I loathe those people. Worst mistake Grandpa ever made was dunking his dick in that woman. Polluted the line.
I digress, but yet I do not.
So when you read the following, you just remember that Donald Trump is a Saxon. He does not put up with shit in not doing it right or not getting it done. He has good people and God's blessing this time. You measure yourself by what you read below, because if you don't measure you, do not belong in the Golden Age or the Christ Thousand Years.
General Clark’s aide did not have the easiest task in the word. The general was a difficult man to satisfy.
