Until this past January, I have never slept in a new bed. The beds I slept in were thing with wires sticking out like some abortionist table to being things that Dr.Mengele probably tortured people with, so a new bed was unique in it being something unique in it was one of those that comes in a plastic vaccum bag, you clip it and it poofs up to a regular bed.
I was skeptical, but it works and I like it.
I had purchased sheets two years ago, from JC Penney for a coming event like this, as TL was talking about it, and the vermin mice chewed on one of the sets, but I was not in a mood at the moment for Thrift Store dead people sheets, for summer, so I started looking around.
I had gotten a set of Sonoma which are nice out of the Thrift for a twin, but they were like 50 bucks at Walmart and JC Penney was in that range too, as the flannel sheets were around 25 bucks on sale, when I got them.
So I tried Ebay. Now Ebay is great for some things, shit for others in, like electronics for a seed sprouter, you might as well go to the farm store and get a better deal. But for sheets.........they really had some nice prices on full size, deep wall sheets.
I just picked up set #4 for 13 bucks, shipping included. Kind of interesting as I tried to buy this set for 16 two weeks before, but the seller was on vacation.........so they sat in my cart and move by the Holy Ghost I clicked on them, and they were still in my cart, and I almost bought them, but for God's reasons did not............and then the seller dropped the price to 13, the offer appeared in my email, I showed TL and we got them in a brand new set. I really am pleased in God directing me as He has a pillow case TL had gotten out of the Thrift and I could not find, drop out on the floor as I walked by. Am puzzled and perplexed at this goodness of God and I told TL I hope this means money and tractors will drop in for ownership too.
I got a teal green, burgundy, and a tan white pattern, and no a mint green. That is it for sheet purchases, but we saved a bundle on them, as at this moment, Ebay was really the place to go sheet shopping.
Always puzzles me in how some things are great buys, and how some things make me cringe on that site.
Saved me from frowning at the Dollar Store stuff that are thin, feel like they are sprayed with something that will start on fire, and are stiff as Christmas paper. Is nice having things work out with God involved in our life in Him.
