God listens to everything everyone says, records it all. Goes into the Book of Judgement and that is opened as you stand before Jesus Great White Throne, you should take the hint that things are not going to go well for you, even if you pew sit and know God loves you as you got a great life now.
St. Paul is admonishing Timothy to fight the good fight of Faith, adhering to the Command of the Lord Christ to keep the Law and to Care about others.

A Charge to the Rich
(Proverbs 23:1–5; James 5:1–6)17Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be conceited and not to put their hope in the uncertainty of wealth, but in God, who richly provides all things for us to enjoy. 18Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, and to be generous and ready to share, 19treasuring up for themselves a firm foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
I have stated this, but post it again that your money is not your money. It is placed with you by God to be utilized to invest in undertaking Good actions to help others, without having others know what you are engaged in, because if you do, you are not doing it for God, and doing it for people to adore you here, and that negates entirely the rewards process.
Rich people are suppose to invest the coin in this world to make it better and easier for others and by doing that, the Heavenly rewards are accumulated. If you need this explained, physical wealth has only meaning when it is making comfort and joy on earth for others, as those emotions reach the God of Love, and this is then recorded in your balance sheet in having converted physical money to Heavenly treasure.
If you have the big pile of loot in your accounts and are validated by it, then you are not mirroring God, and are vibrating at perishable frequencies. Money disappears and so will you. There is nothing eternal about money. You can not take it with you.
That is the Way God’s System works. It can not be changed.
So the reality is, when the Book of Judgement is opened you are doomed as what will be found there is your big bank account, and then the tally of all the need out there that you left to suffer and die.
