and for something completely different

As the years pass by one of my traditions for Christmas Eve is to watch George C. Scott in Charles Dickens, The Christmas Carol. I was so moved by Mr. Scott's performance that I always include it in my Christmas cheer.

This life in 2008 is such a different time now and it grieves me that so many are cheated in not ever knowing that reality was fun and little things experienced for the first time would decades later still produce a smile at the ability of others just doing their jobs.

In that, I wanted to take a Christmas break and just offer 4 moments in time to share of things everyone should experience as they will probably transform the moment of now into a time when the vintage was a bit more sweet.
I have never understood the Three Stooges nor Laurel and Hardy, but these moments of comedy I did get.

Vito Scotti's moment for me was playing a Japanese soldier on Gilligan's Island in his infamous Japanese water torture scene of Gilligan. That moment is worth the weight of all "comedy" combined.
Mr. Scotti was so wonderful in his roles that he played other characters on Gilligans Island, Hogan's Heroes and The Monkees which you would probably never link.

Howard Morris is the only reason I like The Andy Griffith Show. I never laughed at Opie, Andy or Barney, but when Howard Morris appeared in a few episodes as Earnest T. Bass, he transformed a mere show into comic legend. The networks made a huge mistake in not ever giving this gentleman a series to perform.
Interestingly, if you loved the Jetson's cartoon, it appears that Earnest T. Bass also played a rock n roll idol who wrote the song, Eep Op Ork Ah Ah, stealing Elroy's song.
Mr. Morris is one of the great lights of genius in a moment of time.

The Little Rascals were a great deal of poor work, but I always will remember the episode they were placed in this house to stay and in the middle of the night the man of the house I believe somehow got a bear skin rug throwed on him and he was out of it chasing the kids around. It was hilarious and is a moment to see.

Lastly, Joe Flynn is my favorite in the Disney comedies which with Kurt Russell are often sneered at, but excell beyond what is put on television today. Joe Flynn playing Dean Higgins at Medfield College are true treasures of comedy. Some people like Pee Wee Herman are genius comedians in just "being" funny by being there like on Murphy Brown to guest shots on Everybody Loves Raymond and that is the kind of funny Joe Flynn was. People know Jack Benny being that kind of hilarous, but Mr. Flynn and his The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, The Strongest Man in the World and Now You See Him Now You Don't are equal to all.
The scene of him playing golf is something to smile over in Now You See Him Now You Don't.

As mentioned, The Monkees, Hogan's Heroes, Gilligan's Island were brilliant works. I was glad I go to see them over and over in re runs as even now they will create smiles that the world needs in one of God's days waiting for the real day to come to be when this all just goes away.

Merry Christmas and God bless.

Another Obama Obamass Miracle

It is amazing when one is Obamus, the epitome, the noted one, the name in the legal things which seem to fall off one just like water off a ducks back.
You can walk like a duck, talk like a duck, act like a duck and do duck yuck all over the park and in the end you investigate yourself and proclaim you are Obamus the swan Prime Minister song.
It occurred to me to do a Google advanced search concerning the beloved, the toot, the gram of gramma's, Madelyn Dunham concerning her recent departure for parts unknown.

We do know that B H Obama did scatter Gram Dunham's ashes according to press reports released immediately covering the event on December 24th, 2008. Strangely, B H Obama had been in Hawaii for a number of days playing in the sand and surf, releasing his man boob pictures, while apparently Gram was awaiting her final scattering of her eternal rest.
Someone cynical might wonder out loud how was it Gram just happened to die in time for an election sympathy vote and how Gram's funeral just happens to have a press release for a Christmas sympathy event with all the Blagojevich criminal connections, but instead we here will to ponder the facts.

The facts in this of course are taxes, government benefits in total, life insurance and the will of Madelyn Dunham.

See in most cases when people go Hawaii temperature there is a legal thing called probate. This term is a basic legal right which states a person's last will is certified by the courts and then it is mandatory to have this notice published in the local press.
In the Google search, there is no notice of the probate of the will of Madelyn Dunham which is required. One can understand with Mr. Obama being busy being Prime Minister in interviews with federal investigators that a bit of stretch can be made for him in keeping Gram on ice or the shelf until a vacation comes around Christmas, but considering that all there was was a photo op of Barry on the rocks once again throwing flowers like at the 9 11 Memorial, this time dressed in white rolled up pants and sandals with his sister, Maya, writing up the press release, that Maya certainly could and should have been taking care of the legal side of Madelyn Dunham's estate.

We know Mrs. Dunham made a good chunk of change already in the 70's, because B H was enrolled in an expensive school. Having earned a good wage, she of course had insurance, medicare or medicaid and a sizable Social Security check coming in having worked her entire life and ending as an escrow loan officer in a bank.
As Mrs. Dunham never went anywhere, was only walked like a dog after dark and kept in an apartment she had lived in for 40 years, there was not a great deal of revenue being spent as she was not involved in any expensive nursing home care.

This means a sizable estate and it also means in publishing notices of probate that people she might have had debts to they then have the legal right to lay claim to their expenses.

That is why wills are processed and read immediately after deaths and why creditors are always keen on not being cheated out of having a bill paid on some new refrigerator or plumbing work which was done as the estate is responsible for paying those bills.

None of that though has been looked at in the press. Instead, one finds glowing accounts and Obama dressed up like Don Ho for the 5 o'clock happy hour instead of a memorial service.

All of this matters as Mr. Obama is the one who is so intent on taxing the rich and dealing with estate taxes, along with other medical things which were espoused at the Denver Mile High Club Mount acceptance speech.

What exactly was the estate of Madelyn Dunham?

What exactly has happened to the estate of Madelyn Dunham?

Were there any outstanding debts?

Was anything of value removed from Madelyn Dunham's estate before the will was read?

Where is the will?

Why has not a published legal account of filing that will in probate not shown up in Google Obama searches?

Is the estate large enough that taxes should be levied and collected upon it?

and once again, where was Michelle Obama as she is not pictured at the rose throw and does she have a phobia in keeping her children away from memorial services?

Now if this was George Herbert Walker Bush who just went pajama horizontal and George W. was keeping the press away from funerals and no legal probate was being filed, you know very well that Huffington Post and Keith Olbermann with Peggy Noonan and Katie Couric would be all over this demanding for an inquiry in just what George 43 was running away on tax evasion.
You know very well there would be some Greenpeace and PETA protest in court ordered injunctions of warning signs on a beach if Herbert Walker was scattered at Galveston Beach of "no swimming allowed as a dead ash heap body was tossed here", but yet when Mr. Prime Minister is involved in things it is all ho hum, yawn, yawn, nothing here as Obama has declared hisself innocent.

These are all legitimate questions in the finances of Madelyn Dunham and the legal situation involving her will.

Hawaii has probate laws and yet Google shows no public records for Madelyn Dunham in the searches unless she changed her name to Carlos Dunham of Utah, Eleazor Dunham of Illinois, Cornelius Dunham of Iowa or John Dunham of Iowa.

So once again the world either has witnessed another Obama innocence or Obama's first Obamass Miracle in making probate records disappear without Gram Dunham's financial statements to show if the state of Hawaii is due taxes or if people who are still owed money, like US taxpayers are being paid.

Some people are by miracle just above the law.
