When I read parts of the Tehran plan my conclusion was how this will never be agreed to.

The part of charging 2 million dollars per ship though the Strait was a violation of maritime law. I will explain this as Iran is saying the Strait is like the Suez. 
The Sues is a CANAL like the Panama Canal. It is manmade so passage can be a toll like a turnpike.

The Strait is a natural waterway with thousands of years of use. Even Oman which was supposed to get half the money is not wanting any part of this Iranian scheme.

If Iran was allowed to get away with this piracy, and it is piracy, then Argentina could charge for the Strait of Magellan. England could charge for Gibraltar in the Mediterranean.  Denmark could shut down the Baltic Sea and landlock Germany. China could shut down East Asia transport. India could shut down Indian Ocean transports. The United States could claim a toll for everything crossing the Pacific due to Hawaii.

This blackmail would drive up prices of each of us so high no one could afford them. It would destroy all business. What do you think 2 million dollars a ship is going to do to oil and steel prices going through the Strait? You are the one in this food chain which will pay for this extortion.

Wars have been fought over this and wars would be fought again if Iran was allowed to shatter maritime law. None of the points from Iran benefit anyone but terrorists in Iran. The Arabs are not going to allow America to get out of the Mideast as America is all they have to keep Iran in check.

So Iran's 10 points are pointless unless this is providing Iran time to pre position nuclear bombs in the Mideast and the West to first strike.

You never get that consideration from the fringettes who are not intelligent enough to reason and who are not Christian to be Inspired by the Holy Ghost.
