Obama Pike

Some may think the former discussions of a Pike weapon as letting too much the cat out of the bag when in reality how the United States should respond to threats with kinetic energies in existing technologies should be norm for Prime Minister Obama.

For example the design of the Pike weapon in various forms is as different as the knife is to the spoon as is to the fork. Each one is based upon speed as the kinetic force meeting not the unmovable object but a required stationary solidified object which will fragment and in many ways become liquid dust for the Pike to flow through it.
For example in the atomic sun weapon, the required hammer and anvil to set off the nuclear chain reaction would be of a much different design than per say the rod which would be designed to penetrate in the shock wave force with perhaps a nuclear device as a warhead exploding to pollute the nuclear center underneath to keep bombs or material from being salvaged.
That form would require a rod as a shaft. Another form would be like a shuttle cock where one desired a combination of impact transference to mushroom the head for a shockwave effect like a massive localized earthquake which would be quite effective in demolition of entire centers of operation.

The Soviets were quite interested in effects of this nature in what is termed yaw factor in the late 70's and Reagan years. In western civilized warfare people were supposed to go out on the battlefield who were from the elite families and then get a bit of a wound to come home the hero. So bullets were made civilized by treating in full metal jacket versions. For the layman, a FMJ is simply a steel bullet with no possibility of a mushroom effect which is what hunting bullets pertain to in modern high speed bullets as they transfer kinetic energy into tissue which causes fluid shockwave that explodes tissue and uses bone as missiles to make fast and effective kills.

FMJ bullets simply punch neat little 7.62 or .223 holes through military personnel. This is what the Russians were studying in yaw effect in their 30 calibre or 7.62 x 39 Kalishnikov AK 47's along with the cheaper Sarinova rifles. So for Karl Schwarz and other types who are so enthralled by Russians either in dating them or having a distaste for America, this is one of the many tells of what the Bolsheviks were trying to create. The creation was a bullet which would be accurate enough, but destabilized enough so once it hit a human body it would rip jagged holes by slamming sideways into tissue, creating gaping wounds and transferring massive amounts of energy into a body to kill it.
In short the Russians were attempting to make a mushroom type effect bullet out of a full metal jacket round. All legal by treaty, but breaking that treaty with the most criminal of murder on United States Soldiers.

It is this yaw effect which also would be quite desirable in making one Pike weapon into two. If one wanted penetration, one simply would drive it straight into a bunker. If one desired a target to perhaps shred an airfield, one would turn the rod sideways upon impact so it would slap the ground deep enough to create a meteoric type shockwave which would pulverize entire runways, earthquake type shock crumble buildings, rupture fuel storage containers and in the best of situations cause enough friction in an ammunition dump to detonate that too.

The drawbacks of such a weapons system are advanced militaries could wage nuclear type destruction without the pollution effects. As noted before, the combining of two weapons smashing into each other over masses of troops would provide a concussion wave similar to the artillery rounds of the past which would literally knock the life right out of a human standing there and freeze them in place.
Treaties would be of course deemed necessary for discussion of civilized warfare, but in this concussion impact Pike, the Pentagon and War College would now have the means of killing a 200 million man Asian military force on the cheap which is what would defeat an American society as there are simply not enough bullets or bombs in conventional warfare to vanquish an Asian foe.
The Pike though would solve that dilemma and keep American Soldiers alive as this warfare would be mastered at 5000 miles distance.

That is the policy the Prime Minister must put into a crash program much like the bunker buster's using M1 Abrams tank barrels to the fragment case shell of the TOW missile which turned an anti tank weapon into a anti personnel weapon fired off of Predators.
A few months and this system would be operational and capable of dealing with this facet of American big stick policy.
