Aeorplane

While the days always change, the faces do not nor do the planes which fly in the skies of the world. Some pilots are adept, some not. Some planes fly themselves and some are like trying to steer a cast iron bathtub with a two by four.
What stays the same is gravity, lift and drag in the hand of God watching over fools and the wise who take to the skies.

In that, I have been pondering the two latest American plane crashes, one of a failure to get people killed and one of a success of getting everyone dead, including one poor misfortunate who got pulverized in his own house.

The celebrated crash or belly flop was something I could care less about as one plane crash is just like one hurricane, as long as someone I loved was not involved, thank God and move on.
Of course though as it was New York, it was just to die for in even David Letterman was lining up the entire crew as "heroes".
The reason I never blogged on this as I was tuning it out, but now as things have changed which have piqued my interest, the words flow.

Firstly, it must be defined who a hero is. A hero is not a policeman who gets paid for doing a job. A Soldier is not a hero for simply fighting for his nation. A hero is not a doctor, teacher or anyone else just landing a plane, because the alernative is a disaster.
Heroes are special, because they are faced with extraordinary circumstances where other people's lives are in danger and the hero then arises without thinking of the harm to themselves, risking their own life to save the life of someone else.
That is a hero and why the military awards Soldiers special degrees of medals for being heroes.

A person like the Captain of the belly flop can perform a heroic act in doing all the can to land a plane, but George H. W. Bush did the exact same thing in a time of war and combat, but David Letterman does nothing but mock him.
George H. W. Bush with a shaking hand dismissing those who call him heroic, will instead tell you like all Soldiers, that he is only a survivor, in the heroes are the ones who died for America.

This brings me to the point of this matter in while I have not watched all on this belly flop nor indulged in reading about New York worship, it appears to me that this crew is taking a bit too much credit for what the Captain did, and the Captain, as I have not see any emblazened headlines is taking credit for something which God, angels and prayers accomplished in doing the guiding in his landing that plane.
That airliner like most should have pealed open like aluminum foil and yet it stayed glued together. I call that ministering angels coming immediately to help people who are praying to God for help to glorify the Father.

It would be nice if all the heathens taking and giving credit would give God full credit as He deserves.

It would also be interesting to know if it was one person on board God saved the entire plane for mercy, or for that one person in what they might do, or it might just be a fetus one of those people will have born and not aborted, in the reason for that plane being landed safely.
It appears only God knows for now as it might even been a Mother's prayer for God to keep her delinquent 30 year old child safe until they get right with God.

One never knows who the real heroic act was in this beyond God for now.

As for the successful crash which killed a bunch of people, that is the crash which I have wanted to write about, but been reluctant to as something is not right in this entire story.

Firstly, there was a male and female pilot in that cockpit. They had more than enough experience with that bird to fly her in even bad weather.
While I have not heard the recordings, which is why I have not jumped in with an accuastory note, I do know the certain facts that the FAA was puzzled in the pilot had turned on the de icing protocols almost immediately after take off.
The FAA stated this was very over cautious and as they are making a note of it, there is something which is not adding up.

Secondly, airplanes of all sorts have in their electronics all types of warning lights and tones just like an automobile. It is impossible for anyone piloting a plane to not notice certain things happening as the on board computers monitor everything.
One can not even turn a system off, just like your computer without a prompt of tone making a double check the action is indeed what the human wants.

There are all types of censors and as a pilot is sitting in the cockpit watching the instruments, with 4 sets of eyes, it is impossible for anyone in there not to notice pitch and correction changes, along with speed changes and compensation.
So how does a large aircraft with all those warning devices and instruments, fly along on auto pilot without the pilots noticing?

Either both pilots are out of the cockpit which is not done. Either one pilot is ill and the other is distracted, or, either the pilots are doing something in the cockpit besides flying the plane.
I will leave that at that as I do not want to get into anything concerning people's reputations and families having to deal with that.

The point of this is that a plane was using de icing procedures when none were needed as if no one was flying the plane. The auto pilot was on so no one was flying the plane.
There have to be absolute instrument warnings in speed dropping off, over compensation in the auto pilot, for a plane to be dragging along, at last measure pitch upward, which could have indeed been from icing on the controls, which then caused the stall after a few moments where the plane literall just plummeted from the air.

Unless a terrorist was on board doing this, which the data coming in does not show, the conclusion is the pilots were not flying that airplane from take off. The question is what where they doing in the cockpit, as they were in the cockpit as released audio shows the pilot doing one word confirmations to the tower.

I hope it was not what it appears was going on in Hugh Hefner having a hand in this crash, but pilots, even very bad pilots with 5000 hours combined in aviation really have problems getting things this wrong.
Paul Wellstone's flight in Minnesota was due to icing, but that plane crashed and did not fall from the sky. Likewise when a turbo prop carrying South Dakota Governor George Michaelson and most of his state's officials lost a propeller blade which might have smashed into the fuselage, even that plane was flying at maximum rpm in attempting a landing until they hit a silo which killed the whole group.

The FAA might still come up with a plausible explanation, but if it is listed as "icing" or "pilot error", they are not telling the entire story in how 2 pilots got that plane to that point where their craft just fell out of the sky.
There should have at least been counter measures in overpowering where they should have crashed the plane.

It seems though God is not getting any credit for saving people in His landing a belly flop and the devil is not getting any credit for crashing one out of the sky.
