Before the bell tolls it's final roll for Teddy Kennedy, when the majority of the world honors him, much to the angst of Jimmy Carter who will be cheated out once again of the adoration he so lusts after, it is appropriate to hope that Edward Kennedy accepts Jesus the Christ as his only Way into heaven, confesses his sins, repents of them, as this is all that matters in the reality of life.There isn't going to be any brownie points for being a President's brother nor for being in the Senate. This time it is all about genuine caring about others, obeying God and Key to eternal Life in Jesus the Christ.
As the shroud of this lays bare, I can only imagine that Jimmy Carter will be once again struck with envy as Teddy Kennedy, the Democrat who helped drive the nail in Carter's necrophilic presidency will be receiving the adoration pouring forth for the end of the Kennedy era.
Carter has been cheated out of the silent majority in Richard Nixon and the adulation in Ronald Reagan. His vista will be one of the dullness of Gerald Ford with the intestinal discomfort of Democrats wanting to forget malaise meal Carter heaped upon them in failure.
Carter should have did himself a favor and died 25 years ago, because Teddy Kennedy is going to soak up all the glory and leave Jimmy with peanuts.
Carter's voters will be all dead. Clinton's voters do not like this guy. Obama's voters have their own sexual dysfunction to get off on and Kennedy's voters will always dismiss this guy as the hick from the sticks.
As Jimmy Carter has left instructions to the details of how many peanuts people will have to nibble on in attempting his vainglory, it is certain Teddy Kennedy will have the mirage of the past of Jack and Robert to send him home in a funeral done in Washington style that only the Kennedy machine clinking on it's last legs as the dying memories of Camelot prod liberals in the press to glorify they Kennedy's one more time.
Especially, since Carolyn was just treated like the hose bag she is in ruining the pretty pumpkin picture of Carolynella.
What can be more fitting for Teddy than to have his adopted son Birdie as Prime Minister taking up the reigns of doing Joe and Jack one better in they just stole the White House, while Birdie installed himself as a British subject.
Birdie will resonate deeply, look like Obama on teleprompter and give his black preacher dialogue the opportunity to grace the amazing Teddy, his political daddy.
For historical purposes, this is one wake I will watch with pleasure as the torch of Kennedy is extinguished from America never to rise again. There are events in this American secularism of importance and Teddy Kennedy's funeral will be one of them conducted in DC.
A mere Senator who will command the respect of lying in state as Presidents do.
For all of this, the reality will creep in, but never be spoken by Charlie, Katie or Brian. The reality that our medical health care problems are due to Teddy legislation. Our illegal problems are due to Teddy bills. Our education fiasco is due to Teddy legislation. Our energy crisis is due to Teddy and our blown out debt is due to Teddy laws.
If Teddy would have flown a plane on 9 11, held Monica's hand as she smoked Bill's cigar, every bad thing which happened to America in the past40 years basically has had his signature on it.
It does make one contemplate if the family of Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick will finally like the Goldman family in O J Simpson ending up in prison, think that finally some justice will have been done.
So many highs and so many lows, even in the end of Teddy Kennedy.
I do have sympathy for Teddy as I have known 4 people who had brain cancer, some fast and some slow. I realize that being a Kennedy, he will have the best of everything, but unless God Graces one in the following weeks, it will not be a pleasant time no matter how much morphine one can drip in.
I have seen this cancer from inside become sore red spots on the forehead where the sufferer winced at them being touched. I know the moaning of some. I know the prognosis in loosing one's mind in not knowing loved ones, and, the pain like none other.
It is even with all the horrid things Teddy has done, the people he has hurt, the nation he has left in peril, that I still have compassion on him in this loneliness he faces as one in hours of thought, tears welling up from your core, questions, pleadings to God, he must face as he releases from this world for another his choices will bring him.
I do hope Teddy is forgiven in Jesus. I do hope for his family's sake they have the closure they need so none of them have to carry a burden of him in something not said or done if it can be helped.
I would have rather had Teddy on the side of American good, but he was Teddy Kennedy. The fiction will be written about him, but too many know the Truth.
God bless you Teddy Kennedy to find the right Way in these final days, and as much, God bless all those who are reaching the end knowing and not knowing to find Jesus, so this veil of mistakes and tears will have been worth something for God's Glory.
