Ron Silver, adieu et Godspeed

I do not do allot of tributes here, because most people in life are disappointing and the rest before they buck out, should have let the mule kick them in the head 20 years ago to save the world the space they were taking.

I'm going to though invest a moment for Ron Silver, who died from cancer at the age of 62. I take this time, because after 9 11 when hordes of Hollywood jackasses were tearing this nation down, Mr. Silver stood up alone and defended America.

He took heat for it as liberals always are pricks about anything they judge the lessers of in committing evil. For being an American though, Mr. Silver deserves space on this page for doing something heroic in standing up while Hollywood is always laying down.

Mr. Silver played wonderful "heavies" in his roles and I personally was so distressed in finding out in the past century he was so aligned with the lunatic left.
It might surprise people that one of my favorite actors is Martin Sheen. I never watched him one in West Wing, but I have followed his career and enjoyed his performances as always outstanding. America does not have a great deal of good actors like the British do, who actually cast people on ability instead of sex acts, being a Jew or politics. That is why with all the disappointments in actors and actors being idiots, I was pleased to note Ron Silver after 9 11, costing him a great deal, put it all on the line for America.

As stated there are few actors I will bother to even watch. Miguel Ferrer, the son of the best Cyrano ever, in Jose is of the class like Martin Sheen who really can act and are worth the time no matter how bad the scripts. Mr. Ferrer also is one of the few Hollywood actors who stood up for America in common sense.
Ron Silver is such an actor. My two favorite performances of his are strangely in a Charlie Sheen movie where Silver perfectly plays two aliens in a story about global warming and where Mr. Silver plays the heavy in TimeCop.

It is easy in times like this to think of one's loss, but Mr. Silver's wife and two children are so much at a loss. Sure they had time to prepare and certainly they never lost Mr. Silver as I do pray he is in a better place in Christ, but when someone like Ron Silver is in one's life there is an empty there like a canyon.

The world is more empty with Mr. Silver living on another dimension. It makes one feel the same melancholy in Gilligan no longer here, because Gilligan was a kid who was never supposed to grow old. I feel that often in paging through cast members on series like Star Trek to old movies in looking up actors and actresses and finding they have just died. The pleasant times they gave are that bitter sweet in their being gone and not ever knowing how much they were appreciated.
There are though thousands of people and thousands more families in America going through this day exactly what the Silver family is going to deal with. May God bless them dearly.

May God also bring to their mind, that Ron Silver was one of the good guys, who the majority of Americans will be sad at his crossing, and in moments like these think, if only Mr. Silver could have stayed and hundreds of those protest oriented actors and actresses would just go away.

Adieu et Godspeed, Ron Silver, and may God hold your family like all families in His care. In Jesus Name. Amen

An American is dead in Ron Silver, no greater tribute can be bestowed upon him.
