Birdie Obama again has betrayed black people in giving the shaft to black farmers he had promised to pay for grievances in the USDA had not provided them loans as they had other farmers.Mind you know, I find it repugnant that just because the government screws you over, it is absolutely no reason for taxpayers to have to pay money to any group.
I have been screwed over numerous times by the government and I never once expected a cash pay out. It is just one of the many lessons of life that the government tells Citizens in need, "No, go away, you don't qualify and if you wait a bit maybe you will die and solve every one's problem".
Obama though went out of his way as a Senator to promise reparations to black farmers. Obama backed the bill for these farmers while in the Senate, but now having used black people to get into the White House, there only seems to be money for Wall Street, bankers and financiers who seem to be Ashkenaz and white.
Think of it in Obama has allowed Geithner to spend around 6 trillion on hisself's image. He gave 1.1 trillion to brown and black skinned people offshore in the IMF bank grant. He took the Bush bailout and somehow 300 billion disappeared from the 450 billion Bush had left in the fund. Obama took a trillion more for Democratic donors in the stimulus and these black farmers want 3 billion dollars for a hog trough of 65,000 pending claims, but Obama can not afford that.
Now I know farming a wee bit from the genetic labs, to the commodities, to California agribusiness to ye olde market gardener in the ins and outs of this life.
One might ask how 65,000 black farmers even exist in America considering if they had 40 acres and a mule that would be almost two and a half million acres of land.
That is the rub in this as a few decades back large companies started filing petitions on black people's land. Ted Turner even tried to make a grab for slave land and in a perfect God given justice, right after that Turner lost hundreds of billions of dollars.
See black "farmers" subsisted for years on 40 acres, a tin shack and making more babies than rabbits. So the old farmer croaked and left a dozen kids.
The corporates filed in court that there was no way to divided up 40 acres 12 ways and the courts outside of Atlanta and other southern areas agreed. The land was put up for auction and there was no way po folks could afford the hundred grande an acre Walmart could, so the bewildered blacks just blinked and took the money and left for parts unknown.
That is where these reams of black farmers are coming from in part as every cousin and married kin now seeing the pork train Obama in the White House is lining up for farm welfare or reparations.
The USDA was doing the correct thing as it is one thing to loan money to major farming operations, but a completely different thing to make grants to 20 people living on 40 acres and all claiming they are farmers when all they do is plant a garden and everyone sells a bag of tomatoes to some local.
Yes people, you too can be a farmer if all you do is plant a garden and sell some produce to your relatives and latch onto the money train.
This blog though did not screw up small farmers for the Obama financiers 50 years ago driving people off the land for large scale hybrid frankenfood, nor did this blog promise 3 billion dollars to black people living like Mexicans packed into a San Antonio lot.
That is the difference, as I fully have supported, advocated and written doctrines concerning the need for a blossoming of small scale agriculture co ops feeding local populations and unlike most geniuses who do not get this blog, I know the genetic diversity chromosome structure of potatoes for example, and why heirlooms do not make you sick and why hybrids do.
When Birdie Obama tells black tenant farmers he is going to do something for them, these people start spending the money, depending upon it and do not work. Look these black people have their own Black Farmer Organization with a spokesman.
Obama promised these people $50,000 a piece. He now is telling them to settle for $2,000.
Sort of like him promising $450 in his stimulus to poor people, and poor people get nothing, but select retirees, handicapped and Vets get $250. Two hundred dollars less than what he promised, but Obama lies non stop in this in the only people getting bucks are the European financiers.
If you did not notice it, the Rockefellers seem to running from Obama in wanting Obama out of their banks. The real reason is Obama will find all the money dry cleaning and other crimes, so they want nothing to do with him.
So while I would welcome a land of gardeners producing bushels of veggies, gallons of goat milk, lovely red lard hog hams, all free from poisons and combined into co ops making money for lower income families, I do not back Obama handing out money to people who do not deserve it nor do I back breaking his word.
This is just a growing pattern of Robert Mugabe Obama. He promises wine and caviar and people end up with broken dreams filled with kook aid and crackers.
