What is red flag on this is Mr. Beckstrom was having a feud over security control with the NSA, National Security Administration, the uber agency that controls all surveillance worldwide.
That this blog finds interesting in Mr. Beckstrom is big enough and backed by enough clout cartel that he was kicking sand in the face of the NSA which takes sand from no one.
Beckstrom though is not content with computer controls as he is part of the Environmental Defense Fund which created the Kyoto Protocols, also known as the "destroy American capitalism and enslave Americans" protocols which George W. Bush would have no part of.
