I personally am suspect of anything that rubs up against Obama as Obama wears off. In that if one votes for Obama like McChrystal, it reveals what lack of sight he has and if one serves Obama as Patraeus, it reveals a lack of comprehension to the pit of vipers he just jumped into.In that, David Patraeus' greatest enemy is not the terrorists, but David Patraues' greatest enemy is being a political animal like Dwight Eisenhower and not realizing it is the political establishment he serves which is the bigger enemy and not the Germans.
Gen. Patraeus has already revealed he does not comprehend he is not serving under George W. Bush when Pataeus stated there had to be cohesion between the civilian and military to work in Obamas Afnamistan.
Afgahnistan to Obama and his regime is not about winning that war, but about policy in how to exploit it for a greater Marxist vision. Soldiers were slaughtered in Afghanistan over ballot boxes. Soldiers were slaughtered again as political payback to Muslims and Soldiers are now in a deadly position where Obama wants them dead as Muslim donation interest payments, Hillary wants them dead so to topple Obama for 2012, every major player in the region wants them dead to drive America from the region in humiliation so they can rule, and there stands David Patraeus stating he is in this Obama chosen war to win it.
For the record, the entire regime's civilian group are bunglers, and designed as such to lose Afghanistan, as Obama for his European masters in Berlin wants to bloody America, so she will never be seeing nations free again that are Saddam depositors into axis banks run by the Rotshchilds.
Patraeus walks into a situation of intrigue where Europeans just tried to topple the Karzai Government and Obama just tried to topple the Karzai Government.
Into this, Pakistani Intel posing as Indian controls just pulled off two fizzler bombing attacks in America, so Pakistan will have the seat at the table to control Pakistan when Obama abandons it.
India has it's billion dollar donations into Pakistan with Iran, Russia and China funnelling money into the terrorists, and if that is not bad enough, Obama has been bankrolling warlord thugs and creating a straw Taliban to knock down so he can declare victory for the 2012 elections handed to him by David Patraeus.
The intelligence in Afghanistan is non existent in the CIA which has it seems three Muslims working for them on the payroll, one blew hisself up at a CIA base, one works for the Taliban and one works for al Qaeda. Patraeus walked into a fight, where someone was passing notes to the BBC which represents the coup plotters there that the Taliban was replying to overtures to "negotiations", when no one has explained with Patraeus in charge, who is trying to make peace with the Taliban, to which the Taliban replied, "We are winning so why should we negotiate?"
David Patraeus is a political officer, even though he has Mech and Airborne command. He is Dwight Eisenhower having to play diplomat to a group of backstabbers, but in Eisenhower's case, Patraeus has absolutely no George Patton to go in and do the man's job in winning the war and terrifying the hell out of the terrorist backers in Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran and India, that if they do not behave, they will be obliterated next.
So for all the intrigue of one win David Patraeus, General Patraeus has all of those McChyrstal liberals who loathe him and would with glee enjoy seeing Patraeus fail.
That is why Patraeus is foolish in being CENTCOM commander and taking a lesser job, where he should have told Obama that he was Commander, that David Patraeus would pick the General to replace McChrystal and that is the way it was going to be as he is Supreme Commader and if Obama doesn't like it, he could put on his little general star and go get Sheik bin Laden as he vowed he would get almost 2 years ago now.
Yeah where is bin Laden's head which you promised B. Hussein Obama? All America gets now is the same old excuses that maybe bin Laden is dead for years now.
The only people who want David Patraeus to succeed are Americans and the Karzai Government. Everyone else wants Patraeus to be bloodied to various degrees, so Obama can remain in power on one end and Clinton can take power on the worse end.
That is not a situation that David Patraeus has revealed he has any place in being by his first comments.
David Patraeus rightly demanded there would be no withdrawal in 2011, but he had lack of planning in comprehending that he needed to cut a political deal directly with the Democrats in control of Congress for funding and with the Republicans who may be voted into power.
Patraeus needed to cut a deal directly with Hillary Clinton as his commander in chief, to provide him cover as Obama is a sinking factor on the left, and Hillary in her own interests should be the one with Bill running interference for Patraeus and giving him inside intelligence on what Obama is really up to, as well as those pink undie crowd in Congress.
That is how one prosecutes the war in your worst problem in the Democrats and Obama regime.
The second phase is Patraeus needed to be as the Navy Pacific Admiral in command and start setting US policy in the region. Patraeus needs to be Eisenhower negotiating directly with the political zealots in cutting them deals from India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and with the Iranian Patriots in exile.
Patraeus also needs to make it known that it would be a shame if some of those terrorists being sponsored against America in Afghanistan started showing up in Xianxang and Chechnya being major problems for Russia and China.
If this all sounds Potomac Political, it is just that as rumors have it Patraeus is GOP in the making, which is not a hand the GOP should bank on.
For some advice in this, Patraeus if he was the politician he is moving into be, he would hire Stanley McChrystal to his DOD team as a civilian with the simple announcement, "Civilian McChrystal has key diplomatic interphase with the local leaders in being able to liason with them effectively is a part of this war effort."
That gives a pumpkin for Obama to fume over who it was reported McChrystal has designs on running for the Presidency.
Never rule out that McChrystal might be on tap to be the lead ticket, with Hillary Clinton as Vice President. Put the Clinton McChrystal team on your side to win this war, and then deal with the Potomac issue as the situation plays out.
Gen. Patraeus, the Anglo Greek, has shown he is no Sarah Palin in scope of Inspiration in this political era. I hope the best for American victory and Gen. Patraeus while Obama dithers about in slaughtering Americans, but this central eastern theater is one of intrigue, with everyone dripping in their own brand of poison to the pot.
This is not Bush warfare making it easy for Schwartzkopf, Franks and Patraeus to win victories as Bush 41, 42, with Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld gave the military all they needed and more. This is Obama guerrilla warfare in a soup of Asian intrigue where everyone maneuvers for defeat as that is where the spoils are, and Obama is spoiling Afghansitan just as he is tar balling the GOP Gulf for the spoils.
David Patraeus has enemies within and without, and his friends have no idea the political assassins they are dealing with. Patraeus stopped being a military man the minute he signed on for the Obama quagmire of Afnamistan, and is now, a political officer.
He does not have the regime's backing and as Jesus is Lord of all American battles, I have not seen a great deal of Jesus in any of this with the Obama messiah around.
