I wonder sometimes in limitations in the boundaries of thought.Most people view the world in the microage of their birth memory to their current state.
I therefore am and the world is from my experience is what the majority base all decisions in life upon.
Not in any way to contend with an intelligent mind like Mark Levin, but to delve into this examination, is the study of his phraseology in soft tyranny.
Personally my reaction to that phrase is akin to a soft rock. A soft rock to the head still breaks one's head, so a soft tyranny is like a little nuclear bomb exploding in it still singes one's hair.
Yet from the modern perspective, meaning from medieval time to present, the term tyranny conjures up a condition of eating your enemies children and selling your enemies to far away slave traders.
The genesis of the term tyranny is in the word tyrant which is Greek based upon the Lydian word, tûran.
In Hebrew the word would be adonai, as in lord, and in Greek it was tyrannos, and it simply meant sole leader.
The fact is the tyrant of the Greek city state from it's inception had no negative connotations. One could view them in Biblical terms as Gideon, Deborah, Samson etc... in singular leaders who rose up or were raised up to rescue the populace.
The first recorded use of the word tyrant was by the poet, Archilochos, in use of Basileus Gyges of Lydia or King Gyges of Lydia.
The first tyrants of Greece in Pitticus, Polycrates and Periander were deliverers of the people or city states from the real "tyrants" who held dictatorial rule over the people in an aristocracy or thugocracy which barred the people from representation.
These rescuers were often aristocrats who utilized the nouveaux riches, the new wealth citizens to seize power and brought about a process of oligarchs which would transform into an organized mob rule called non Representative democracy.
In ways, George Washington was this aristocrat who linked with American and French capitalists to free the colonies from the British imperial order who were denying Americans their representation in the government.
So in pure form, George Washington is a tyrant as the original word so defined a tyrant and their role in the progression of a Republican form of Government.
It was in the 5th century Athens in which the modern tyrant became what would become the modern medieval despot which would devolve into the Italian structured states.
The nemesis of the 5th century tyrant was the democracy ideology by the intelligentsia, who if you note were the antithesis of tyrants centralized power in seeking it to spread that power around to the mob, where it would be diluted so that they would then rule.
Note examples in the thugocracy of Obama, Pelosi and Reid in the few ruling the many by mandate, bribe and police state threat.
Please comprehend this fully in as in 5th century Athens as in 21st century America, the problem is not despotic tyranny, but despotic democracy.
This must be repeated in this community organized Obama, this is not a matter of tyranny, but a matter of the mob ruled by the tyrant deceiving the mob into thinking they are empowered, is the reason for the destruction of America.
America was moved from a Republic, to a social democracy, to a community organized where the thug rules, as in Marxism, Fascism, Communism and in America, Obamanism.
It is community control, community theft of national and private wealth and community lawlessness redefined as legal.
For this reason, I do become perplexed as a millennium scribe, as Patton related, the poet was me upon the battlefield of Carthage spans of time before...........the definitions do matter and require not a lifetime assessment, and not even a historical assessment based upon the learned mind of yore, but a Wisdom to comprehend the phoenix arising from the ashes of human lust again and again.
I learn things by playing the Prophetic Keys of this blog, as I have been moved for some time to examine the teachings of Mark Levin, and now I know why in what it has educated myself upon. Even if it is only me, that is all that is required as the record is a Witness for the trial in the Judge Who sits upon the Circle of the Earth to do justice.
