The Collection

I'm often puzzled by the Southeby snob collectors, as "Sambo art" is racist unless a liberal like Whoopie Goldberg is collecting it and some Tiffany lamp which appears like some child puked up saltwater taffy is worth a hundred thousand dollars.

I consider such things quite profane, and it becomes more profane when a number of years ago I attempted to get Southebys to assess the value of something bestowed upon me by a couple without relatives, in the husband had fought in World War II in Germany, and happened to bring back a souveneir which when given me astounded me.

We have all heard the stories of an old photograph of the US Capitol selling for over a hundred thousand dollars, and in that, in my antiquity collection, I have around 50 baseball cards in a book from the 1930's which records the rise of Adolf Hitler in the Reich.

It was puzzling to me as a child as I paged through this book as these are not photographs, but lithographs like baseball cards, of events never before seen or were recorded.

I consider it priceless history, because how does one put a price on something which absolutely is unknown on the person noted as the greatest fiend of modern history.
It is though an absolute disgrace that the collector snobs to the Smithsonian have in their clique no use for history, revealing things which never before were known. The book has all the major characters and many minor ones, all celebrating this propaganda reich in it's glorious infancy, never hinting once of what it would devolve to.

What is the price of Abraham Lincoln first arriving at the White House? What is the price of a John Kennedy photograph before he enters the limo at Dallas? Those events to me never seen, when discovered, would be priceless, and I personally would value a book like this at several million dollars.

Those things fascinate me, as I love history in all forms, and look upon it in scholarly terms, as to gain one glimpse of a moment in history to see things they way they really were is something I cherish.
I pour over old photographs often, and in reading books of historical memoirs, I frown often when some recorder passes over in not explaining their camp outfit or what they ate on Christmas. When generations change, so do habits and the clothing choices they choose. Once that generation dies, that knowledge is gone. This video age helps freeze things in time, but how can you take a photo of a 1965 Buick and not know the paint had a thick lustrous look to it, or that seats were rough, unless you find a car of that era?

The fixation on Hitler after he became a pariah is filled with the image of the 1940's. The reality is though it is rare to know what that reich was about in the German image of pastoral sedateness of blooming flowers and a father of a country returning it to a status it could be comfortably proud with.
The reality is Hitler was not beloved for making the trains run on time, putting people to good jobs again or for his fiery speeches. No, the reality is Hitler healed Germans from the humiliation of World War I.
Hitler came as a glorious angel of healing to Germans, and they simply fell in love with him, as he made them feel good about themselves.

The reality is which the modern Obama voter will cringe from and mock is that Barack Obama manifested the same thing for many liberal wounded souls from Vietnam, guilt of success, the death of John Kennedy to Martin King, and Obama brought a catharsis so these Obama voters could feel good about themselves for the first time in their generation.

Did you know that Barack Obama has started more wars already than Adolf Hitler did in the same years? Did you know that Barack Obama divided up eastern Europe with the Russians, exactly as Hitler did in pacts with Stalin and the west?

Now why is it this is a golden age of Obama in historical purposes and the book I safekeep is shunned in being thee most historical book of the greatest period in modern history.

No I will not publish one photo of this book and the above is but a German stamp of a Hitler Youth, because I will not share for free to Obama voters who will not see what they have done to the world, and in that the day will come when this book is valued by a collector in a private collection for what it is, and I will gladly part with it.........with the exact condition this book is reprinted into a coffee table book in replica and I will receive a copy.

Adolf Hitler as never seen before numerous times over.

Yes what price is that worth?
