Eve
I think a great deal lately about Jesus speaking of the person who finds the most perfect gem and sells all they have to obtain that one perfect stone..........
In life, in God's Wisdom, I have learned that good people think they need fixing and the soul which is raped thinks they are unfixable, and evil people think they walk on water.
The Reality is God just forgives sins and that is the same as healing, like the woman who just knew if she would reach out to touch Jesus clothes, that she would be healed.
There is not a person in this world who is not in requirement of forgiveness as we were all born at enmity with God after Adam and Eve sinned.
I have always known that Adam and Eve had the greatest love story ever not told, except in my mentioning of it, as Adam was the first Christ figure and Eve is the first Church figure.
Eve sinned and her eyes were open, but Adam had not, so if it had ended there, a great deal of problems would have taken place, because a fallen Eve was wed to a still unfallen Adam.
Adam is quoted as blaming God after the fact in "that woman you gave me", which is a shortcoming of fallen state of grace........but is not recorded is that love Adam had, which moved him to take that fruit from his Eve and join her in not being alone.
In most seasons, April is a time of life, but in those seasons, April is the time Jesus came to lay down His Life for His Church. People never see that the husband joined the wife to rescue her as she was worth giving all up for.
Would I say that most men and women are worth such a union? Not in the least, because most are lumps of coal and deserve to be in hell fire, as they would betray you, use you, hurt you and leave you on the road for being the "walk on the water" demoniacs they are.
There are though those times that a person is led by God to a someone more than a kindred, someone who breathes Spirit, a someone like Eve or the Church, when the heart just recognizes the other heart and would be no other place.
This is not about sacrifice, nor worthiness, perfection or any other thing that this world incorrectly judges people on.........this is about someone precious, that gem, so outstanding for that other person, that she comes from his body as Eve and the Church were for Adam and the Christ, and a man just steps through the veil so willingly that there is no question of doing this, as the appointment with destiny is that star speaking to the heart that there is no other place to be.
Most people are looking for a way out, and walking away..........but a few will look for the way in and are looking for the place to stay, to abide as there is no other place they would ever choose to be.
Yes we can be slapped in the face, we can have bad days of not liking who we are in some 8000th verse we hear, but sometimes we can look up, and see someone standing there hip deep in this world, smiling at us, and glad to be there, because you are there.
Is there any reason for Adam to jump in? For Christ to jump in? For fixing the unfixable? Most certainly, but it is not logical.
When you are a part of someone, you just follow the examples of Adam and Christ. It isn't about being easy or about being hard. It is about caring for someone and being there for them, and when it means laying down your life and all your efforts for them, it is just a part of what is that Eve thing going on from the beginning.
Tears are a virtue in washing away what seems unfixable to a brand new heart healing with care in which all things are possible with God in fixing all things, by wiping away sin as He wipes away tears.
The most precious of gems and metals only come from the most pressure and heat, and this is the Eve God created and the Eve of the Church Christ saved.
There is creation and salvation in a woman, and that is why she was chosen as only she could understand the meaning of death and of life, while the man knows without her there is no life.
Sometimes Eve needs more than promises and words. Sometimes she must have the Adam biting the forbidden fruit and the Christ laying down His Life, to join her in every way, because in that mutual joining, God has revealed that both will be raised to life in that complete expression of love.
Jesus said that no man had greater love than to lay down his life for another. No woman has greater compassion than she is worth such a noble cause filling two Testaments in the Bible.
Eve, the twilight of the day for a covering night shrouded in uncertainty of the unseen, but the promise is like in that evening star she listens to, that the same morning star will arise with her in hope in a new day dawning for her as the sun of Christ brings her to Life in a new day.
All this would not be in signs and wonders if she was not the child of the stars in the promise of Life.
Isaiah 65:17; For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Luke 24: 4, 5, 6; And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee,
Amen, Eve, Amen
