The holy grail of the art of alchemy is changing lead into gold. It has been the mystery of the ages and one which has fascinated me, not for riches, but for the reality of how this ancient art form worked.
This is the problem in this, as science has lost all art, as these were indeed arts which transformed the natural into the unnatural state as much as steel is not a natural form of earth ore.
I will simplify this and state it is possible to change lead into gold, utilizing the Philosopher's Stone, the mysterious elixir which is not so mysterious as this blog has covered previously and can be and is created in this modern age.
The ancients called it in a way the sperm of all metals, means this flux, and it is a flux product as in welding, actually has an interesting property as an isomer in stereochemistry being able to "vanish" the certain additional signature of lead, and turn it into gold.........by this illusion.
What the Stone does is bind in an open source atom in lead in mirror like open source, and it thereby turns lead which is still lead, into another metal.
This is the beginning of this process from the Rosarium Philosopher:

I will digress at this point to a most important virtue of understanding this puzzle in the following quotes from one of the greatest Alchemists in George Ripley:

And Sublimations we make for three causes,
The first cause is to make the body spiritual.
The second is that the spirit may be corporeal,
And become fixed with it and consubstantial.
The third cause is that from its filthy original.
It may be cleansed, and its saltiness sulphurious
May be diminished in it, which is infectious
These Alchemists were quite brilliant, as what they are cryptically mocking people in, is the art form at work in how to change lead into gold.
What I explain is, they are revealing that the method is by a chemical fire, which as it progresses through this transformation, one beholds these colors of black, white, yellow and red, with the final solution congealing as gold.
Do not miss in this mix, that this is reflective of the black, white, yellow and red races, just as the base substances break down, reassemble, transform and become something "new".
They have also said that our stone is made of one thing and it is true for the whole magistery is done with our water, for that water is the sperm of all metals, and all metals are resolved into it, as has been declared.
Likewise, the salt of metals is the stone of the Philosophers, for our stone is a water congealed into Gold and Silver and resists the fire and is resolved again into its water of which it is compounded in its kind. Therefore, the reduction of bodies into their first matter as into Argent vive is nothing else but a resolution of the congealed matter by which a lock is opened by the ingression of one nature into another.
The process is simply laid out in first the lead must be transmuted to it's first state, and then it becomes another state it arose from, and by corrupting that state it becomes another.Let the Artificers of Alchemy know this, that the forms of metals cannot be transmuted unless they be reduced into their first matter, and then they are transmuted into another form than that which they had before. And that is because the corruption of one thing is the generation of another thing, as well in artificial things as in natural things. For Art imitates nature and in certain things it correcteth it and excelleth it as nature is helped by the industry of the Physician.
In this we have the code process of the liquefaction of the lead and something arises from it. That something in process is well known and is the metal mercury.
The juices of Lunaria, Aqua Vitae, Fifth Essence, Spirit of wine, mercury vegetable, are all one. The juices of Lunaria is made of our wine, which thing is known but to few of our children, and with it is our solution made, and our potable gold is made, that being the mean thereof and cannot be without it.
What they understood this as was a fermentation process as they understood vinegar and wine made, from the same white bacterial sperm on fruit.
To explain, one heats lead chemically, and introduces the sperm into this cauldron womb, of the Philosopher's Stone, and it literally changes before the alchemist's eyes from black, white, yellow and red as the final products........and yes this is about products as the elemental list of atomic elements speaks of lead, mercury, gold and silver.........silver being the lightest element noted.
They are speaking of atomic weights from 42 to 87 in a most ingenious and complex isomer particle in the Philosophers Stone that in various states makes lead disappear and three other metals of antiquity appear in it's place.
What this is in generation point a form of thermodynamics in triple point, where certain molecular arrangements as water under pressure and heat, become both gas, liquid and solid.
The chemical binding causes a heat and a form of pressure which binds the vanishing agent of the Stone, and creating this list of metals with lead incognito.
Mercury liquid and gold solid, all from lead as a liquid smoking to a gas.
Now here is the rub children, as this process works and it is quite binding to even being tested by flame, why is the world not full of mountains of gold from lead?
Certainly the process was protected by the practitioners as the common livestock could not be trusted with such generation of a sloven lifestyle of idle richness, but the congruity in this is.........the disappearing act is not permanent. The Philosopher's Stone in process begins to diffuse from the the lead in this chemical isomer, and soon enough one has a pile of lead..........or most probably a pile of lead dust, which blows away in the wind.
One must understand in the Alchemists did produce "gold" and other elements of metals, but it was still lead, because the Stone was only obliterating the view of the lead, and lead in reality in the illusion.
Would it be possible to create a neo philosopher's stone where this diffusion would not take place? Most probably, the problem of this was though, that with electron microscopes, radars.......that this lead into gold would be unmasked and many people would not be pleased with zirconium for their diamonds.
