In my life, I'm quite a stubborn, mule headed, know it all. Before you smile at thinking you have something to degrade me with in your pathetic world of inflicting on God's own, you should listen as your ticket is for hell.
In reality, people require usually 3 times to be knocked down, the literal core of them stunned and shattered before they come out from the sodom they are in with satan, so be really saved by God.
People like the sweet song of the liberty of the Lord, but within weeks when presented their reality, they are trying to pack up God and whoever God sent, and bring them back to sodom, so they think they can have God and this world, in having their cake and eating it too.
Would it be easier if people just took the open door and ran? You betcha it would, but people are conditioned by satan with pleasures and validation not found in God, and when triggered, they run to whatever that is they found comfort in, instead of going into a room and opening the Bible, meditating on what God is saying and then praying to God to commune with them for strength to be carried through, so they do not end up back on murderers row with satan as their grinning executioner.
God will send people with messages of their personal testimony in pointing things out. God will send Angels, God will send Prophets personally to some, God will actually resort to harming some physically, and opening their eyes to the fact that they are being frustrated every time they indulge in their false god things satan is lurking in, and yet they will cling to the death while offered life's escape.
Lot in sodom was this way. People always say, "Well if I had Angels talking to me, I sure would have fled sodom with all that sin!"
Oh really? You take an inventory of the things you are involved in that have broken the 10 Commandments, and you tell me how far you have fled or if you are still locked behind your door negotiating with Angel rapists.
You ponder that hard and close, as there was Lot with a message from God, and instead of fleeing, his response was to offer up his virgin daughters to be gang raped.
You of course would never do anything like that, but then what are you offering up in you in donating your money, your time, your presence to an entire structure which is satan's hang out and it is destroying all those in contact with it?
Sure it's just a bar. Sure it's just hoochie football. Sure it is just the club. Sure it is just the golf course last hole. Sure it is just work in the the degrading conduct there......it is all just something we do not have any control over we tell ourselves, and we can leave it any time, as we never offer up ourselves in degradation to the sinful nature marking us every moment in associating with it.
Lot was called righteous, but sodom certainly soiled him.
When warned, he would not leave. He wasted an entire night barred in sodom trying to stay when God said it was going to be destroyed. There is no difference in people knowing the sin they are involved with ends in hell, because it is all the same, and no one knows what the dawn brings if this is our last moment on earth, and instead of getting out of what God was warning us to, we instead just plunge right back in thinking we can handle sin, and never notice how those old patterns start creeping in as we make excuses for them.
Lot literally had to be dragged out of sodom. His wife was still lusting back at that life and was turned to salt.
That family had plenty of time to prepare their possessions, but instead refused to leave sin. Lot and his two daughters ended up in a cave, and of course their fix was to get the old man drunk, have sex with him, so they could have children.
Would it not be better if people took all the money they dump into a weekly booze tab, and put it into a tithe donation to God for them to be blessed in?
It doesn't matter if it is computer games people are impoverishing themselves in, in whatever sodom they are involved in. It is all the same cycle of death which Lot was in, and when he should have been preparing in being warned, his response was to negotiate to stay in sin which will always be destroyed.
God in Love will do all sorts of things in warning. When the Voice is not listened to, then there are inflictions which take place that shatter the person, who is then forced to suffer and mourn and try for perhaps months or years to put things back together, and then stumble off and probably need another dose if they survive.
Yes this is about survival my children, because do not think you are somehow immune while in satan's realm from being murdered as that is what satan does.
That entity would rather have you in hell or in a degraded spiritual state than to have you as God's own.
Sometimes though it is God taking your job, your money, your home, your health, all the things which you think define you, as people are so stubborn they will not listen to the message no more than Lot did.
People really should listen and realize in all cases we have our Lot downfall as the stiff necked child thinks all the things that validate them are to fearful to give up.
Abraham gave Lot the choice when both their peoples were too many to hold the land. Lot chose the cities of the plain in their sin, while Abraham was left in the wilderness highlands in God's care.
Everyone had better listen and be on the Way to God, as the smoking cities of the plain are what this world is about in the End Times.
Abraham saw the smoke of that Judgment, but he was home in the Lord having separated himself out from that sin.
Lot was a sojourner in begging for one more taste of a small city and ended up in a cave in incest with the world.
Everyone thinks they are Abraham, but in reality the majority is Lot down in sodom, because that is why Judgment comes and why.......
That is the stuff that dreams are made of
Turning to nightmares there alone
Smells of sulfur fill the air
With smoke and fire of brimstone
