As Wayne Madsen and John B. Wells have sworn to not let this story drop, some explanation is required to deal with the protocols in the quadruple homicide of investigative journalist, Phillip Marshall.

We know for certain that the bodies were no grouped in the home, in the three humans and one small dog were not on top of each other. We know the front door was open and one child's body was on display in the hall which prompted the investigation.
We know that at least three sweeps of this area took place by varying law enforcement from California FBI to federals to locals.
We know this is a gated community and the homes are upon each other, and the walls are cheap California thin.

Mr. Marshall in working on a new book, had uncovered a dangling connection which was about to expose a key element in the 3rd level which tracks to the second and then the first. Think of this in George H. W. Bush was first level in the Reagan Administration running black ops to impeach Reagan. His second level was Oliver North as conduit. Marshall, reals at this in various intended emotions, as he presumes he has been set up and he never uses the Glock, so he has not seen it recently, and he starts to calculate that this will be a spectacular teaser for his book in more intrigue.
The faux agents follow the eager Marshall into the home. Marshall allows this, and goes directly to the gun, whereby the gun being assessed as not the gun. It is returned unloaded as Marshall begins turning his back to the assassins........left side reveals he was intimidated as right side would mean a protective attitude, and as Marshall is right handed, a home burglary left brain shot is not a problem in the sanction of Marshall by silencer.
The family pet aroused by strangers in the home has arrived on the scene, and when the body falls to the floor with silencer report, the dog alarmed begins to bark. At which point the dog is silenced.
This brings the surprise events of the first child now aware of noises and the pet alarm appears to surprise the assassins.Normal freeze fear takes over, and the assassin closes on authority of training and kills the first child.
An immediate sweep now engages and the second child is killed.
