The abomination which makes Desolate

It was after the assassination of King Seleucus of Asia by Heliodorus, Antiochos Epiphanes being the younger brother, that a Simon of the priestly course of Bilgah, who was Temple superintendent had a dispute with Onais III, Temple Priest in Jerusalem, that he engaged the Governor, Appolonius, about the huge fortune in the Temple treasury, so that it would be confiscated for the King's treasury.

This being stopped by an act of Angels at the Temple, Simon accused Onais of the acts which saved the treasury, and Onais appealed directly to King Antiochos.

In this time, Onais, had a brother named Joshua, who wen to the King and through bribes, secured the Preisthood for himself.
This Joshua changed his name to the Greek, Jason or so named Jesus, and began to corrupt the children of Judah with Greek apostacy.

As part of the bribe was a promise for the Gymnasium to be built, the Judahite males were there gathered there together naked on the east side of the Temple, wearing the Greek wide brimmed hats in the nude of Hermes, patron demon of athletes, as part of the youth club.

In three years, Jason sent Melenaus, brother of Simon who had been supplanted to King Antiochos. There  through flatteries and greater bribes supplanted Jason as Priest in the Temple.
Melenaus, then ordered Onias murdered, and Lysimachus, Melenus' brother was substitute for the High Priest.

The murder caused an outrage and King Antiochos was grieved.

Upon the second invasion of Egypt by Antiochos Epiphanes, a rumor spread that he was dead, and upon that Jason with 1000 men attacked the city of Jerusalem and slaughtered many.
Jason fled as Antiochos was not dead, but the King thinking Judea was in revolt, came forth with great fury. Forty thousands women, children, virgins and infants, young and old by the soldiers. Forty thousand were slaughtered in three days and forty thousand were sold into slavery.

At this time, Antiochos Epiphanes with Menelaus as guide, took the King inside, and there the King laid his hands upon the Treasures dedicated to God. Antiochos took away 1800 talents from the Temple.

On returning to Antioch, Antiochos Epipahanes appointed an Athenian senator, who ordered the Jews to no longer live under the Law of God. This senator dedicated the Temple then to Zeus.
Iniquity then filled the Temple in gentiles and apostates, who committed lewd acts  in revelry rites with prostitutes and had intercourse with women in the sacred court.
Offerings were brought into the Temple which were forbidden and the Altar was covered with abominable things.

This is the Abomination which makes Desolate.

It will take place again before Christ returns at the 3rd Temple which will be built.
