Adam Lanza murdered his mother over events which took place in grade school. It involved pedophilia and he was molested as a child there.
Into this a "government agent" monitored Lanza, and after Lanza murdered his mother, Lanza was activated to carry out a slaughter at Sandy Hook.
Lanza "dallied" outside the school, as he was waiting for press coverage. This waiting caused and altercation at the "green car" where the agent fired through the car at Lanza, frightening him intentionally to enter the school.
Lanza had full intention of shooting children there that day, but upon entering the school was more concerned about being shot by the agent, and was looking for a place to hide.
The agent entered the school and framed Lanza by opening up in one specific room.
When local police arrived, they saw Lanza enter a room and heard a single gun shot. That shot was fired by the agent dispatching Lanza.
The police knew this was an "undercover agent" by his identifying himself, and they let him go.
The person of interest detained in the police vehicle in the front seat and stating he did not "do it" is still in custody.
As profiling first indicated here, Lanza went to that school to "save" the children from the same things which happened to him.
