Mr. Kerry came out, because Mr. Obama is on vacation and Mr Cameron of Great Britain was humiliated in no war vote in Parliament. From a tactical operational standpoint, the Syrian command and the Iranian command seeing this, along with Kerry promising "no boots on the ground" with an affirmation it would be a limited attack, that it would be sound military doctrine for Iran and Syria to retaliate on the United States, including the Jewish state, because Syria can absorb the attack of all the cruise missiles as London did in the blitz.
In hammering the Jews and American bases "to make them bleed" these attacked peoples would gain support all through the region. Backed by Russia and China, they would have diplomatic protection.
Russia and China seeking to exploit this American isolation, could expand this and literally take over the American interest section driving America from the region.
With little effort and retaliation, not using chemical weapons, Syria and Iran could roll the Obama regime out of the region. The only thing the regime could do is then fight a multi trillion dollar war, which the bankrupt regime can not afford.
