He was in the company of the Seminole chief, Oceola, or Powell, and had intimate relations with both Indians and blacks, but after the rescue of a white American girl from Oceola's kidnapping and pedophile attempt, he sanguinely spoke these words to another Irishman who was the cousin of the rescued girl.
I will note in this, that the one act of the kidnapping, murdered the girls brother and father as they were looking for her, and it was from the American Indians.
Rochford's words are as follows:
