To the Lilly of France:
Dearest Lilly,
I will be completely forthright with you. *99% of women are backstabbing, badmouthing, jealous harpies as I found to my sorrow at an early age and am constantly having confirmed day after day. They do not share men, are naturally less generous than men, and learn by societal printing to be manipulative in their dealings with all other human creatures as what society tells them is they can only acquire what they desire by being the same as the rest. Faultfinding as you know is born out of inner feelings of failure and feeling they are not in control.
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." I say this to help, not to lecture, as it may give you relief in your situation...practical application in acknowledging things not done perfectly yet in giving thanks to God for His many Blessings and Provision from His Storehouses for you and your kin. Some women also are too wrapped up in their own issues, enslaved to them even, to see how much they hurt the ones they love. If you have not yet asked for this, she may need it to be pointed out in that you have a need for words of encouragement when your hard work has achieved success.
A Viking once told me he took his daughter to the mall behind his wife's back. The daughter came home, changed her mind in repentance and told the mother, and guess who got the lowdown?
Some days women are like a five-cat bag, packed with a dozen wildcats. And you know who is going to be getting the fang and claw. The Bible says husbands are to love their wives and that is all you can do. Women expect a man to know what's on their mind, because women always tell men what is on their mind. All you can do is love your wife, and God Will Work out the rest.
My grandfather used to can beef and duck. I tried deer with rosemary, one with mustard seed, and one with bay. It was pretty good. I don't know sometimes if the women are mad they are in their kitchens or just mad about something else, but it's never the beef they're complaining about.
When a man loves a woman, she makes him more of a man than he ever thought he could be. That is power, and no one in this world can crush a man quicker than the woman he loves with the slightest gesture. Women rarely realize that the men in their lives are little boys who are vulnerable, because the men try so hard to hide it in being what men are.
I don't know how long I can do all of this, due to lack of internet access. I will try to be around and have in the drafts till about the end of November. And remember, I can't expect poor people to donate, and if the rich don't give a damn, then there is no point in putting out the effort.
