Patience

The only time I ever heard God's Voice literally was wave of thought as I was in anguish in bed, half seated up, praying to Him.

I have that it would have been some great mystery or Gabriel concourse of Prophecy, but what God's Word was, was just one, repeated over and over with all force of will in being undeniable, and the world was soft and firm in, PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE.......

Suffering at the time and for years later to the point of having a rifle barrel for a nipple, I did not appreciate the Wisdom as in pain and anguish, being told to be patient in endless assaults it is like being eaten alive from the inside and having someone say to endure it out.

Jesus has carried me literally my entire life. He is the only reason I am still here. It is a reality that nothing has been but patience and still calls for the same message.

It was interesting to me that Martin Luther along with Faith based the Christian life he endured on that word Patience, and patience in all things.

Of Comfort against Envy.

A certain honest and God-fearing man at Wittemberg lately told me, said Luther, he lived peaceably with every one, hurt no man, but was still and quiet; yet notwithstanding, said he, many people were enemies unto him.  I comforted him in this manner, and said: Arm yourself with patience, and give them no cause of envy.  I pray, what cause do we give the devil?  What aileth him to be so great an enemy unto us? but only because he hath not that which God hath.  I know none other cause of his vehement hatred towards us.  Therefore when God giveth thee to eat, then eat; when he causeth thee to fast, have patience; giveth he honour, take it; hurt or shame, endure it; casteth he thee into prison, murmur not; will he make thee a lord, follow him: casteth he thee down again, so care thou not for it, nor regard it.

Martin Luther. Selections from the Table Talk

We are warned never to suffer as criminals innocent of crimes nor to endure abuse, but we are in all cases to wait upon God in patience and hope, for He will prevail as Christ has already given you the victory.
We are urged to be silent in not being yell for yell against those harming us, but to always be vocal in bringing this before God, for God to Judge and Avenge.

Patience is important in every way in the Christian life coming into contact with the chaotic upheaval of the minions of satan.

That Patience is necessary in every Particular.

I, said Luther, must have patience with the Pope; I must have patience with heretics and seducers; I must have patience with the roaring courtiers; I must have patience with my servants: I must have patience with Kate my wife; to conclude, the patiences are so many, that my whole life is nothing but patience.  The Prophet Isaiah saith, “In being silent and hoping consisteth our strength;” that is, have patience under sufferings: hope, and despair not.

Martin Luther. Selections from the Table Talk of Martin Luther

It is a thing of Job in evil people prosper and good people suffer. Sometimes God trials in allowing the worst of people to remain on display as waymarks to see if we all are false and will go down the Obama trail.

I do not have the appreciation I should for patience, although I am patient like a turtle under abuse as I roar like a lion to God for being avenged. I simply want to be apart from this world in a place with my Beloved and screened from the upheavals as I did not start them, so by right I should not have to endure the calamity of them.

Patience. God help us in Jesus Name Amen and Amen
