By the Hand of Mormon
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter......
Most intelligent people know of Mormons as an odd cult which has a handsome race, but is something of a Masonic teaching and order.
Others may know the Mormons actually were at war with the American Government back in the 19th century.
I would doubt though that any would know of how the Mormons assisted terrorists for the destruction of the United States military.
The Mormons of course invaded Utah, and it was home of the Utes. The Utes were a quite prosperous band of Indians who made great prey upon non Mormon settlers.
The United States Government having enough of this kind of terrorism, sent out a command under General O'Connor to deal with this terrorism.
The Mormons though had been equally busy in teaching the Utes how to fight white men. They formed a complete battle plan for the Utes. One part was to fell trees in a canyon to form a massive breastwork and the other was to trust in the Mormon lord.
The idea being the troops would show up, charge the breastworks and all be slaughtered, according to Mormon teaching and the Mormon lord would be agreeable to this and slaughter piles of Americans.
General O'Connor sent out one of his officers to study the situation and the battle was to proceed the next day.
The United States military formed a line for battle........and then put their cannons at the head of the canyon and opened up on the breastworks.
For some reason in Mormon military tactics, the Mormons had not contemplated cannons, as the US Soldiers were just supposed to run up and be shot down by the Ute Indians. The US military contemplating such things contemplated cannons and started raining death on the terrorists.
The Utes scattered like jackrabbits into sagebrush and the US military not noting any difference in male terrorists who scalped people on the trail or female terrorists who tortured people in camp, did a wholesale mop up in what is one of the greatest cleansings in American history.
It is odd that from that Black Kettle fight to Wounded Knee that the public never has a word to say about the Utes being wiped out based on Mormon tactics.
The Utes were piled upon in mingled piles of parts, the total being 3000 men, women and children. That pretty well ended the Utes as a tribe and definitely ended Ute terrorism of Americans.
The Salt Lake Mormon press howled over the battle and railed against General O'Connor, but the Americans were more appreciative of the Mormons in teaching the Indians in how to fight the American military, as not one Soldier was killed in the battle.
Only the later nuttery of the Ghost Dance of the Sioux in expecting divine protection from bullets did another like battle ensue against the United States military at Wounded Knee with like effect.
Sitting Bull was the prophet that time, unlike the Mormons in this instance.
The Mormons were a busy lot in the Mountain Meadow Massacre in which the latter day saints slaughtered a herd of white immigrants in the mountains.
History is such an interesting thing, and it is such an strange thing that no one ever speaks of Mormon history and all the blood on their hands.
