That is a key point in this, because one of the gifts which Vladimir Putin gave to Mr. Bush in the cooperation against Islamic terrorism, was the use of "Stan bases" for United States military operations in Afghanistan.
This was an incredibly huge and generous gift by the Russians in allowing US forces to be stationed there. It would be akin to the United States allowing Russian bases to be operated Mexico for bombing runs on Venezuela.
There was a quid pro quo in this though, and that quid pro quo was, the old Russian wet dream, double entendre intended, for from Peter to Catherine to Gorbachev, there is one thing from Crimean to Afghanistan wars which was the focal point of Russian policy and that was a warm water port.
For those who do not comprehend any of this, Russian geography is all Arctic, and their ports freeze up for half of the year. That means her Navy is in ice too. Russia has always needed a port which they could operate from 12 months of the year.
That is what was agreed to by George W. Bush, in a port apparently was going to be constructed with full rail line down from the Caspian Sea, and past the Persian Gulf. Inquiry states there is still a massive pool of oil in south central Asia, but the cartel lied to the world and stated that "not as much oil was there" as to state otherwise would have exposed what was a complicated deal in why 9 11 took place in total from breaking America to gaining oil shares in south Asia, to what was promised to Mr. Putin.

Mr. Putin noting the heinous resident evil of the Obama regime, simply stopped it in Syria with 40,000 people dead, and as stated exclusively here, the cartel and Obama regime retaliated on Mr. Putin, in seeking to disrupt the Olympics to humiliate him, and then to take Ukraine from his sphere, in order to take the next step of the breaking up of Russia and the assassination of Vladimir Putin.
