lazarus factor
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
It is an odd thing I have found in plants, that the more I worry and fuss over them, the worse they do. Toss a plant without care someplace and in most instances God will do a better job to startle you.
In tree sprouting adventures, I have a miracle tale of today.
The mother Sugar Maple was very busy.....so much so the old gal was sweeping away seed choppers from her drive the other evening which TL heard and I did not. TL has ears like a canine in high pitch sounds.
Any way, so God sprouted three maples in a flower hanging basket here, and I found them and made the attempt to adopt them out of a wire roots jungle of things.
Two came out ok, but the 3rd wee one decided to break off. It was from a small seed, so is one of those realities of Darwin things.
In any event, I transplanted into a plastic cup cup. Yes cup for the name and cup for the measure, and day one it sort of wilted in the heat, but had me smiling in the morning as the night air revived it.
At noon or so I checked again, and there was wee one looking like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree, or something coming out of a bamboo steamer. It looked cooked with it's leaves resting in the ground it looked like it was going to return to.
I brought them in, another one looked singed as it was hot and they sat in air conditioning all day with not much restortation going on at all.
The Holy Ghost told me about the night air again, and being chided I prayed for recovery and out they went to the grand heavy air of the stars.
Around 2:30 AM a monsoon started. Water running down the street and TL mentioned about the plants and I decided that I was not getting drenched for wee bity plants and God could keep them from breaking off......and he did as all was well in the morning.
I went out and checked things at 6:30 and was delighted again, as there was wee wilty maple standing up and looking better than it ever did. I actually had to compare as there was another little one I found that I transplanted yesterday, but that was in the square container, and this one was in the round one.
Wilty maple is now on the plant shelf inside where it will abide until the worst of the heat is passed, giving it time to grow some roots out of that little white stump.
I have had tomatoes wilt from heat and spring back, and peppers from cold and spring back too, but this was the worst steamed plant I ever saw. Is not my intention to repeat the miracle, but am giving God the rightful restorative credit for this as it is amazing to see dead things come back to life.
This was after we watched a South African movie about Faith like Potatoes. It was a pretty good Christian film like This is the Life that the German Lutherans used to produce. Is about an Afrikaaner in the miracles God did for him. I will not give the story away, but at least in the wilty maple God's will was for it to be alive.
Who knows maybe this runt will produce syrup by the ton or maybe God was just making a point.
Thought I would share though as everyone needs to have miracles now for faith as people share them with me in letters.
