As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
Almost every Christian prays like they are listening to their children or their parents in, "Yes, yes I am glad you had a nice time........" and the subject could be getting run over by an elephant.
They pay no attention to DELIVER US FROM EVIL, which Christ taught in the Lord's Prayer, and most like I used to foolishly think, I sort of like the fun evil, so maybe I don't want to be delivered from that.
Wonderful idea until it always gets you into trouble you can not get out of.
Effective prayers though are as effective as a witch's curse, but where the witch always has counter forces coming back in balancing things out, the Christian by praying correctly blesses or empowers themselves as God is doing the work, and God works for your being obedient to Him which is a good payment, as satan collects your soul if you try that route, witchcraft has nature blowing down your house, but with God in your proving you are trustworthy, all protection comes with that.
As satan sneered at God over Job, "Well of course Job is faithful to You, You built a fortress of protection around him".
What God does for Job, God will do for you. It is precedent.
The Scripture is full of God's Promises of reckoning, retribution, vengeance and protection from God, but it has to come from God. Your part is opening that mouth of yours and instead of cursing yourself, blessing your situation and activating God to Glorify Himself, by loving you.
Psalm 141 verses 9 and 10 are the perfect prayer.
Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
This is called imagery activation. It is both vivid as a parable in teaching, providing the mind and understandable picture to focus on, but it also provides the infant Christian the sympathetic will of association, for actions to be taken.
The first part is Deliver us from evil. The second part is the activation like Haman in the book of Esther being hung on his own scaffold, while you escape, and in Haman's case, other's got all he had.
You believe something you pray or say to God, as St. James teaches without being doubtful like a cork on the waves, and once you pray that, God is activated and the event will come about. You are not pray for other's demise, but there is nothing wrong with blessing someone whose actions are antagonistic to have their actions come back upon them, multiplied however many times.
That is what Jesus said, if you sow weeds, you harvest weeds. Weeds are evil.
You have to understand that people are just not going to jump over the edge in they will fight their own demise, but if they are putting all of their joyful energy to steal from you, to ruin your reputation, to bully you, then they are delighted and moving on that path with full gusto. They will be running to their own trap to check it and be caught in at, in what God is setting for them.
The shame in this is most of you reading this have no idea of the art of trapping, snaring or capturing animals. You are either lazy or have been brainwashed that you have more morals than people who protect wildlife and livestock, or wear fur than you, in that money scam by the globalists.
Trapping is an artform. You have to know your animal in order to capture them. Your enemy the devil studies you, and every predator online or in your life, has studied you, and knows your every weakness to exploit. They lay intricate traps, snares and pits, and in that while you do not have to study evil people, but understanding the psychological workings of their evil in what dangers they set for you, both helps to keep you out of those situations, but when you pray, let the situation they set to capture me in, be turned and bring this evil person's end to a chance to repent, your visualization, once again adds to the sympathetic association of visualizing that outcome, which imprints on the coming time line.
One never acts out in revenge, as that will get you into trouble, both in satan coming to collect, and with the law. Prayers though in God moving the situation as in Haman's case, brings all sorts of interesting ends.
Hopefully you will never be as in jeopardy as Esther in the thick of it, but instead can be an observer or hear about the situation later to praise God over, but be certain that the same visualization of King David in the Psalms in which his enemies were destroyed by their own actions, are just as effective today.
People get into making things harder though for God by being emotional in blurting things out like, "I want that person on their knees begging forgiveness". That might take them 40 years of you waiting around for them to see the grim reaper, and they might be begging some Catholic priest. Put your emotion into prayers, but phrases like "let their sins find them out" and "let the evil they brought to others overwhelm them", are far more effective as it does not force God to a specific situation which requires more waiting and usually consternation on your part.
Put it this way, it is far easier for God to use the opportunities which arise, than to have to steer specific people to the person. In short, when an evil person antagonizes someone and gets a beating, what do you care if it is a motorcycle gang or your praying it is a Jehovah's Witness. They are just as beat, so is it really that important what it is in a motorcycle gang, when an elephant is handy at the zoo the bastard has been poking and old jumbo throws them into the lion den.
You might have figured out in your past prayers as a kid, that your praying for a car happened faster than your praying for a 1996 Ford Mustang which you are still waiting on. In something of my horrid faults as prayers, I frequently am cussing things over in front of God with like, "I need a skid steer loader God!!!", and more times than not I drive by and sure as skid steers there is one for sale..........I can't afford it, but God answered my faulted prayer and I was too lazy to fix it........I just kept on cussing and frowning.
So say things to have God activated into the situation, keep saying things to get things so you know of the results, but don't be praying for Roman spikes when 8 penny nails will get things fastened just as much in your barn. Then thank and praise God at least as often as you have been harping at him.
It would be better double, because God will probably do things faster next time in knowing you appreciate it, instead of throwing the gift in the corner, and then going out and flipping the next driver off in traffic.
That though is the short course in this. You can never go wrong praying the things Jesus, the Psalmists and the Prophets prayed as your situation. Fervent is what James says your prayers should be, and James also says the person who is right standing with God. Do not let that stop you though in satan whispering how bad you suck, because you can tell God that you will do better if you mean it, and right standing with God means you BELIEVE HIM, not that you get your picture on Pope's R Us.
Now go ask the Holy Ghost to help you pray to the Father on what is important to you, and expect results as God is Faithful.
