As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
Having a headache, I was moved to look online to see if there was a reason that Hotmail stops loading in IE 8 and Firefox. There were posts on the old Firefox 3, but nothing current as everyone either changed browsers for that damned e mail, or just went to accounts that worked.
In plugging around in the guts of IE I could not find the fix, but by God's Grace in his Holy Ghost I did find the fix for Firefox.
Here is what worked for me.
On the tool bar, click:
TOOLS
OPTIONS
This should open up a new browser page which is just the Firefox window and is a stupid feature. Then click at the bottom left"
ADVANCED
On that window you will see:
NETWORK
CACHED WEB CONTENT
The cache is usually set at 350 MB by default. If you hit CLEAR NOW, it will empty the cache and then Hotmail will load.
TL hit the over ride window and that seemed to work too, but this is the short version in Hotmail will not load if this cache becomes "full". The same is the issue in Internet Explorer 8, but that I have not found a work around and will not bother as Hotmail sucks.
This though fixed the Hotmail non load for me with the newest Firefox in the 52 operating platforms.
I post this as an exclusive as the help boards have never figured this out at Mozilla or at Microsoft, and I have better things to do than fix the shitty work of cutter wage Paddy and Curry Nigs in their codex. If there wasn't so goddamned much spyware tracking people, the cache would not be so overloaded.
