Is there anything that is more loyal in this world than cookies? It certainly is not politicians or the police state, as in this Christmas season, all that can be trusted upon is God and cookies.

The Lame Cherry is going to give you another secret to cooking, in another matter anti matter exclusive.

There is a secret to making Christmas cookies and it is simple. With this secret your cookies will taste delightfully fresh, without it, they will taste like all the off the floor flat cakes you follow around like politicians and police state.

Lemon

Yes the Lemon Tree very pretty, not lemonade, but lemon juice, that is the secret. I know it does not sound like much, but once you taste lemon in your cookies, or I should not not taste while it is there, you will have something sprite like a north breeze on your tongue with the warm sun of frosting.

Yes my babies, lemon and vanilla that's the secret.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • tablespoons concentrated lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

For the frosting


  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soft butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Some things you might find helpful when you are poor like me. It helps to put your hands into rubber gloves to do some forming on the cookie dough.
Got to have cold dough, or it sticks. But if you are poor from those not keeping their promises, or robbing you, then your kitchen is cold, so you do not have to put the dough in the fridge to cool.
Always floor your board and the top of your dough to make it behave.
Make your frosting behave you need a spoon, not a mixer.

Just remember those things and when you taste these glorious cookies as the acid of the lemon activates the cookies bake up light as fairy pee. Them is what loyal cookies are like. They never let you down like politicians and the police state.
