We now move forward, built upon the 10 Commandments into the summary of the Christian Teachings, in Martin Luther focuses upon the Apostle's Creed.
A creed is something you believe, and the Christian confession is based on three Creeds or summaries in :
The Apostles
The Nicene
The Athanasian
The following is broken down into three parts for understanding:
Part 1: Creation - The Father
Part 2: Redemption - Jesus the Christ
Part 3: Sanctification - Holy Ghost
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
What does this mean? I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them. He also gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house and home, wife and children, land, animals, and all I have. He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life. He defends me against all danger and guards and protects me from all evil. All this He does only out of fatherly, divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in me. For all this it is my duty to thank and praise, serve and obey Him.
This is most certainly true.
This confession is the basis for all you are and all you will be, for the Father in eternity, after creating Angels, desired to create living extensions of Himself, which were the antithesis of Him. Humans were flesh while He is Spirit, but God formulated a remarkable plan, in He made people to look like Him, but in them He placed a soul, which was to be a rearing ground, a greenhouse, to which people could choose to plant nothing, reflect the things of this world which they desired from gold to sex etc....., or they could choose a spiritual darkness in satan or a Spiritual Life in God.
Whatever a human by will choose to implant into their soul, is who they will become, to either be destroyed in hell fire in reflecting the physical ashes of this universe, tormented forever in hell fire in being satan's offspring, or be rewarded with eternal Life in having God's Holy Spirit implanted into them, and they will then be regenerated to Spirit from where the came.
It is a remarkable Great Mystery of God, in this Plan of His desiring to have only people who chose Him, worked always to transform with the Holy Ghost to being Spirit like Him, and trusted that it could never be anything they did, but only Faith in Jesus the Christ, the Thought, Word or Action of the Father.
This Faith arrives to people in the Message in hearing the Word of God. It is the Living Word which nurtured by people with souls, which prepares that bed, for the introduction of the Holy Spirit of God.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
A setting apart or a holiness occurs then, in those who reject God, become seared to Word, but the reasoning begin the transformation to Life by Faith alone.
Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
This creative work began with God, the Elohim, or the dynamic Persons of God, in the Father is the form of God, Jesus or the Word is the Thought of God manifesting the Creation of the Father, and from them is their Presence, the Holy Ghost of God.
The Spirit of God brooded upon the physical creation in making it come alive.
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
God made two divisions in creation, the seen and the unseen. The unseen foremost creations were Angels. In the period of creation, God made one especially beautiful Angel called Lucifer who was full of beauty. Lucifer though thought itself as God, and an angelic are broke out in Heaven when Lucifer and 1/3rd of the fallen angels who became demons, as once Spirit is corrupted, it is forever corrupted, like set cement, and tried to rise to the throne of God.
The base of this war was Lucifer observed God creating the physical, and noted God forming mankind in the image of God, and when the reality was known that God's purpose in all of this was to have the mighty Angels serve these humans in body, because these humans in body were being transformed in the womb of the earth to be the children of God or the Spiritual Body of God, that is as in the case of Judas betrayal of Christ in being denied his throne then, caused the degeneration in Lucifer which became a demon.
Collosians 1:16
For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:
The Holy Angels are the ministering spirits of God's Plan. There are millions of Holy Angels active at every moment to assist in God's Plan
Hebrew 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Daniel 7:10
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Demons, or the devil, satan etc... are the murdering forces of anarchy, involved in attempting to thwart God's Plan, by destroying as many people as they can.
This though is part of God's Plan, in people having freedom to choose God or their own destruction, are like Spiritual athletes, or Spiritual gold, refined in time to greater ability and value, by the trials and temptations they suffer.
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
II Peter 2:4
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Mark 5:9
And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
In knowing the unseen, in God's Plan, there is now the seen, in you reading this. God created out of the earth by His Hands, and God breathed life into you.
Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The body of the human with the immortal soul which can be destroyed by God in hell's destruction, is one empowered by God, to become Spirit, to be one with God.
This begins the Office of Redemption in Jesus the Son of God
John 1:12
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name:
I John 1:3
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see him as He is.
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
This redemption begins with confession of Jesus as your personal Savior. It is a matter of choice and freedom to choose. This is the first article of the Apostles Creed.
Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
