The reality of God's Law is that God is the Advocate and Enforcer of that Law. Laws are not ever upheld by all of the People, and when those laws are corrupted by corrupt people in high and low places, it sets off a chain of events of disruptions which become anarchy.
Civil Wars are not bred in Truth and Honesty. Civil Wars are bred in using the Civil Laws against one group, until that group takes up arms to attempt to stave off their genocide.
Sin is a word which all know, but it's real action is rebellion. Sin is someone cheating at the law and thinking they can steal your morality so they can be immoral to get what they lust for. The Great Arbitrator in this is God in Heaven, Who has set all sorts of natural booby traps into the natural and demonic world to provide consequences to those who break God's Laws.
Fornicate you get diseases. Adultery you get pregnant and go bankrupt raising someone else's bastard. Steal things and those things have you stealing bigger things and prison awaits. Lie about enough things and you will infuriate someone and end up murdering them when they come looking. Stop going to God and Church and you find yourself in places where all kinds of misfortunes happen to end your life, because you can not get into trouble if you are in bed at 11 PM at night, instead of catting around the city.
. The Conclusion to the Commandments
Q. What does God say to us about all these commandments?
A. This is what He says:
``I am the Lord Your God. I am a jealous God. I plague the
grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those who hate me with
their ancestor's sin. But I make whole those who love me for a
thousand generations.''
Q. What does it mean?
A. God threatens to punish everyone who breaks these commandments.
We should be afraid of His anger because of this and not violate
such commandments. But He promises grace and all good things to
those who keep such commandments. Because of this, we, too, should
love Him, trust Him, and willingly do what His commandments
require.
Consequences are built into this world as warnings, and when those warnings do not curb the seared soul, then it is a matter where God stops blessing people in families and communities in rebellion, and their natural predatory natures become like Sodom. Sodom did not just happen that Angels appeared and people wanted to rape them, because they were so deviant. Sodom took place the first time a politician figured out he could reward a corrupt Judge to steal some person's property they both could divide.
God's Commandments, all of them are blueprint for a mansion in Heaven, a guide map to a treasure at the end of the journey in a Crown of Spiritual Life. The 10 Commandments have an order. Honor God means to become Spiritual as God is, so you become goodness as God and by Christ eternal. Curb yourself to be like God by disciplining yourselves to not be caught in the desires of your selfishness which will all perish like this world, and that assists the Spiritual growth.
It is very simple, yet it is hidden, but the 10 Commandments are a framework on how to bring you good things in this life and all good things in eternal Life.
Keeping God's Laws guide you to having a complete life on earth, and in the keeping of those Commandments is the manifestation of caring for others, which is God's Law fulfilled, which brings rewards in negating a great deal of your rebelling against God in His eyes.
Put it simply, if your child is good 9 out of 10 days, you are going to be more patient with them, than if they are bad 9 out of 10 days, where you will be more severe with them. Obeying the Law does not wipe out your sins, as only Jesus has the Authority to do that, but being good, proves to God that you are trying to be right with Him, and in Faith that is what righteousness is.
Obey God and treat others as you would prefer to be treated.
