The One Taken

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

Today's Bible reading from the Holy Ghost is from the Gospel of Luke, and honestly, the reading has puzzled me like it has many people. Some have taken it out of context, in meaning it was the Rapture. Others have looked upon it as in Matthew 24, as I have, that it is included in Jesus Second Coming. The internet though is a wonderful place, as some sites has multiple translations and Bibles one can search the Scriptures in, to find out what Jesus is actually stating.

I am thinking of Stephanie in her explanations of French nuance, which is as complex as English, in using colloquial phrases to say things, and in this Jesus is saying something Galilean, to the Disciples, when they ask Him a question.

The question is about people being taken when the Kingdom comes. You are familiar with two are grinding and one taken. Two in bed, one taken. Lot refusing to come out of Sodom, before it was destroyed, in wanting to stay in the luxury of the world.

As I type this, I believe the Holy Ghost is whispering to me, that a round up is coming of people, and that would mean Christians.

That is what you must understand in this, that Jesus does use the same type of phrases in Matthew 24 which is current in His time, a future time and the End Times. In Luke though, Jesus is speaking after debating the Jews, about the Kingdom of God appearing, which has already appeared by His coming.

That is what the Message Bible is explaining in the translation. Jesus is not talking about a rapture. Jesus is not speaking about the End Times. Jesus is speaking about His disciples and followers, in the days when Jesus has been crucified, is not among them, and after He appears to them and returns to the Father in Heaven.
It is this period which The Acts of the Apostles reveals as there was a major round up of Christians in persecutions, which Paul, who was then Saul was leading. Two people will be in one place, the armed guards will take the one, and leave the other who is not the Christian.

The Disciples inquire on hearing this are asking, "Where will we be taken?" They are alarmed and fully understand what Jesus is telling them, especially as all of them, have not comprehended like Judas, that Jesus was bringing a Spiritual Kingdom, not an earthly kingdom. The Disciples are expecting seats of power, and Jesus is telling them, they are about to be rounded up.

Jesus really floors them in how He ends the teaching in He informs them that the Disciples should watch for the circling vultures, meaning His dead body, in Jesus will be dead, and the vultures who circled Him in the Jews, will come for them, as Christ being assassinated by the Jews will unleash all of this.

" 37  Trying to take all this in, the disciples said, "Master, where?" He told them, "Watch for the circling of the vultures. They'll spot the corpse first. The action will begin around my dead body."

I hope this explanation of Luke 17 in these verses helps each of you, to not trust in a rapture which is not going to take place. Yes there is coming a Spiritual harvest time of as in Matthew 24, but that is after Christ appears and stays. There is no a peak a boo second coming, and another 3rd coming for real. The End Times are just that. They will begin in a compressed time and the final phase starts in the New Year of September, goes into the Armageddon of October Atonement,  is completed in November in gathering or Thanksgiving and for those who arrive at the 1335th day, the empowering will be, when Christ re dedicates the 3rd Temple at Christmas.

There is much suffering to come though in a shortened time before the Joy of Christ with us.
Luke thee Apostle
Chapter 17

The Coming of the Kingdom

20  Jesus, grilled by the Pharisees on when the kingdom of God would come, answered, "The kingdom of God doesn't come by counting the days on the calendar. 21  Nor when someone says, 'Look here!' or, 'There it is!' And why? Because God's kingdom is already among you." 22  He went on to say to his disciples, "The days are coming when you are going to be desperately homesick for just a glimpse of one of the days of the Son of Man, and you won't see a thing. 23  And they'll say to you, 'Look over there!' or, 'Look here!' Don't fall for any of that nonsense. 24  The arrival of the Son of Man is not something you go out to see. He simply comes. 25  But first it's necessary that he suffer many things and be turned down by the people of today. 26  "The time of the Son of Man will be just like the time of Noah - 27  everyone carrying on as usual, having a good time right up to the day Noah boarded the ship. They suspected nothing until the flood hit and swept everything away. 28  "It was the same in the time of Lot - the people carrying on, having a good time, business as usual 29  right up to the day Lot walked out of Sodom and a firestorm swept down and burned everything to a crisp. 30  That's how it will be - sudden, total - when the Son of Man is revealed. 31  "When the Day arrives and you're out working in the yard, don't run into the house to get anything. And if you're out in the field, don't go back and get your coat. 32  Remember what happened to Lot's wife! 33  If you grasp and cling to life on your terms, you'll lose it, but if you let that life go, you'll get life on God's terms. 34  "On that Day, two men will be in the same boat fishing - one taken, the other left. 35  Two women will be working in the same kitchen - one taken, the other left." 37  Trying to take all this in, the disciples said, "Master, where?" He told them, "Watch for the circling of the vultures. They'll spot the corpse first. The action will begin around my dead body."

I believe that the Holy Ghost is warning that a future time is appearing, when the martyrs of the Revelation of Jesus the Christ will take place in the regimes removing the Faithful. That is not any revelation here as Jesus already revealed it. My part is to note it, and it sets in motion in God keeping His Promise in warning the Faithful.
Do not be haughty in thinking all of this is centered in America alone, that you being in America makes you the target, as the world is a large sphere, and the Beast appears with the Whore of Babylon at the City of 7 Hills in Europe.
Just know that you are not immune to this in thee American national sins, and know that those who are born to be martyrs, they will receive their calling. They will lose their earthly life to gain their eternal Life. This is what Christ Promises.
I have always looked upon this without fear, as death is death, billions have accomplished it, and many Christians have been put to death with success, so dying is the easy part, as the living is the hard part. I trust in the Lord and will accomplish His will as Christ did. I just live in ignorance in knowing that nothing comes to me easy nor does any pleasant thing, as I appear to have stupidly chosen to suffer for Christ, and I seem to be very good at that.

There was only one Disciple who lived, that was John, and he was the one who did not run away when the Jews came to arrest Christ. The rest saved their lives and were later executed over the years, including Paul who judged he was guilty for all the harm he had done as a zealot for the Jews in persecuting Christians.

The times are set and are in motion. We all have to live through it or die in it, as that is our choice before we came here, and I choose to wait for the coming of Christ and the after Life, as that is the place I will have Peace, Joy and Love, and nothing will ever touch me in this plain again.

Once again, another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
