Open Fields

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

The Lame Cherry will preface this article with the stories posted here that I am not a supporter of the police state. Whenever police are allowed to prowl the roads to make you a criminal in order to rob you in some fine, that is not law enforcement. That is highway robbery.

There should be a code, in if you did the things the police do, and it would get you arrested, then the police have no mandate to engage in the same illegal activities.

There is as Supreme Court infringement upon Americans which is unConstitutional, but they state that the government does not need a warrant to spy on you, as long as you are not in your house or your car. There is something called Open Fields and this story as of late is making the rounds on right wing sites, because the gopher police, attacked an American's home, because months earlier, he had discovered game cameras hung on his property and took them down, not knowing the wildlife service was spying on him.

Seated at his kitchen table, finishing off the remains of a Saturday breakfast, Hunter Hollingsworth’s world was rocked by footsteps on his front porch and pounding at the door, punctuated by an aggressive order: “Open up or we’ll kick the door down.”
Surrounded on all sides of his house, and the driveway blocked, Hollingsworth was the target of approximately 10 federal and state wildlife officials packing pistols, shotguns and rifles. And what was Hollingsworth’s crime? Drugs, armed robbery, assault, money laundering? Not quite.
Months prior, in 2018, the Tennessee landowner removed a game camera secretly strapped to a tree on his private land by wildlife officials in order to monitor his activity without apparent sanction or probable cause. Repeat: Hollingsworth’s residence was searched by U.S. government and state officials, dressed to the nines in assault gear, seeking to regain possession of a trail camera—the precise camera they had surreptitiously placed on his private acreage after sneaking onto his property at night, loading the camera with active SD and SIM cards, and zip-tying the device roughly 10’ high up a tree—all without a warrant.

This is being fought out in the Tennessee courts, and should be something the Attorney General of the United States should have challenged, but the Lame Cherry always seeks to educate and assist any of you, and in this, the advice for any of you, if you find things which do not belong, take a photo of them and immediately contact your County Sheriff who is your elected official, and request and investigation and for them to remove whatever you have discovered.
It is up to you, if you choose to make a public record of this, in placing an ad in your local paper and asking a reporter to do a story, as the press tends to wonder what crime you have committed, but making things public, leaves a record it alerts the public to be on the look out for whatever these objects are. Furthermore, a criminal finding their activities are public knowledge will move on to other venues which are not so visible. Inform though your Sheriff of placing this ad and asking for media attention, so it will not interfere if they are going to engage in an investigation.

If it is the gopher police, they will appear for their property as they have to file reports on lost or damaged property.

What should be done, is a simple law by Congress and signed by the President, which states that no investigation can take place in any local jurisdiction, unless a court order, signed by a Judge, is delivered to the county Sheriff, informing them of outside activity in their jurisdiction. This is checks and balances.

The Supreme Court has supplanted Constitutional Rights, but the Congress and President can simply add another layer of protection, as that layer is in the Constitution in demanding the police state inform the courts and the courts informing local law enforcement of activity, as that is the 10th Amendment.

The base thinking  had people removing cameras, or others saying to upload porn to the gopher police cameras, but that would be tampering with an investigation. Instead contact your elected officials and the press, and if people would demand a simple law affirming their rights, to check the Supreme Court over reach, this would end the Open Fields.
