Lame Cherry: Loves us like a Rock

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

So like my cousin has been secretary of our Church for 8 years.

There is a slight problem in she does not even live here anymore, like 50 miles away.

So she tells the Board of Elders and the Pastor that she does not want to be secretary anymore as it has been 8 years, she is 50 miles away and someone else can do it.

She is the person who said, "If nominated I will not run, and if elected I will not serve".

That was pretty clear.

As no one else was running as no one else wanted the task, the answer from the Pastor and Elders went something like this.

"But we want you to run as you are doing such a good job".

But she was not running.

But that really did not matter as there really was not an election. There was not a nomination. There was just the Pastor and Elders informing her that she had been voted in by the Pastor and Elders to another term of Church Secretary.

Her reply was.........

"Well I guess I'm secretary again".

There must be something about us Cherry women. I of course an President Nominee of the Cemetery Committee who protects the Necrosapiens and the plots of land so the things not supposed to be buried there do not get buried there. The President is like 88 years old. I'm thinking his confederate is about that old, as I saw him planting grass this past summer and talked to him, and the other guy is a widower who is in his 70's. So while my cousin is younger than me, I'm still a bit younger than these cemetery officials in which there is not going to be any election. There was just me being asked to do it, and I said I would.......then I was told I had to mow the lawn and I said I would and then I get to measure out plots and things for dead people which does not seem to difficult as it is not like the dead get up and move around. Although in burying the brother or more digging this grave, they hit a rock and nudged the mother over in her vault. At least I know she is still down there and did not pick up the ton vault and walk away in the night.

So we are the power of the Church I guess, behind Christ. My cousin handles the living and I handle the dead. I would rather have the dead as their are no minutes to record and no complaints. The dead to not read messengers nor show up to sing so you can hear them on Sunday.

I do not think much of elections anyway after the past decades of fraud in America. It is just better when people tell you that you are President and Secretary as it saves on all this campaign stuff. I should though have my Presidential Seal and things. Don't know what my cousin wants as she gets her name in the bulletin every week as secretary I think, so no need for seals or something like that.

I wonder if we even get paid.
