One of the last people I would desire to be is a federal Agent. The Nazi took care of their SS, after they dressed up in skirts to get away, but London and the DC elite have no desire to protect this group. They have made them targets of hate by their over the top hunting people down and protecting the elite. The Americans could use the SS, because the SS was not turned completely against Germans, meaning the SS was turned on foreigners and minor groups of Germans, so Germans had a stake in agreeing to the SS to keep the peace after the war. For Americans and other peoples who have been deliberately hunted down in the majority millions, they have their local Sheriff and their own guns, so there is no reason to have an affinity for anything remaining of the federal. Everyone in the hinterlands knows where the federals are, and will be willingly turning their names over to any invader to curry favor.
The Russia and Chinese intelligence services know all of this, and they realize that the hinterland American made an enemy of the state, is going to be an asset to exploit, so they will not antagonize them. Just as the English gifted the Irish autonomy, the Russians will with a monitoring group gift autonomy to America, Canada etc... just as they have in Crimea and Donbass. They do not have enough forces to enforce and the East German police state, while effective, was not productive, so the world can not afford additional wars or occupation costs.

Personally, I feel this is all liberating as I trust in God and trust in the abilities I have worked on for years to not survive, but to live. I'm certain instead of going fetal position that in Christ carrying me, and other Christians, that we will not be pleased with Wormwood or other events, but by that time, we will shrug it off as just more shit to get through as Christ is coming on the other side.
I suspect at least in North America, as the anti Christ rules in Europe, that in the next period of time, you will no longer have to give much ground. Instead you will be able to live on your own ground, like settlers did in common defense, keeping their firearm and hoe by them as they tended crops as they were the Biblical law and order. As I'm quite self regulated I have no problem with that kind of freedom as I have self control in making my garden rows straight.
It is time to start stealing yourself for what is coming next.
