I have not addressed the re emergence of Kim John Un in fighting trim form, due to the fact that I believe he died from the stress of having heart surgery in 2020 AD in the year of our Lord.
I have assembled some photos of the slim Kim and his past real appearances and in my judgment, this is not the same man.
I do not write those things with satisfaction as I believe the Kim Jong Un was the best hope for North Koreans in the reforms he was engaging in, in caring about the North Korean people.
Perhaps someday I will write more of the Kim Dynasty as they are a brilliant people, considering the lack of education of the Kims. They just had a natural talent at leadership.
It is difficult for westerners to keep the family straight as the names change. Kim Il Sung was the founder who outwitted the Chinese and Russians. Kim Jong Il was his son who outwitted his brothers, the Committee and even his father, and Kim John Un is the 21st century Kim who would have ushered in a new era of this dynasty.
In this, the Lame Cherry believes that in the untimely death of Kim Jong Un, the leadership of North Korea...........let me explain how North Korea functions as it is a unique Marxist Monarchy. The Koreans are fiercely independent. They are as daring as the Japanese and a great deal more intelligent than the Chinese.
When Kim Il Sung took control of Korea away from Stalin and Mao, he divided the country up into a caste system to control it. The "party" became the ruling class and was constantly purging itself and others. It was all built around the Leader, who took on mythic characteristics as a mystical monarch of miracles.
The party was ruled by Kim, and the party then ordered Korea with the military protecting the nation and Kim, as Kim succored the military. The entire people spied on each other and the most powerful jobs went to the most loyal. North Korea was perfect cronyism with benefits.
When Kim Jong Il worked his way to be heir apparent, he was able to keep a mistress and children hidden from his father. This would seem impossible, but each faction protected itself by secrecy and did not war on each other, as the focal point was loyalty to Kim Il Sung.
Kim Il Sung's brother administered a great deal of power and taught Kim Jong Il how the system worked, and in time Kim Jong Il removed his uncle, just as Kim Jong Un removed people from power, including assassinating his half brother who was causing problems outside of North Korea.
All of this sounds cut throat and it is. This is not to say that the Kim's are not intelligent, humorous, gifted, insightful and absolute experts of human character.
Why do you think that Dennis Rodman and Donald Trump liked Kim Jong Un? It was because he is the kind of man that men like to have as a friend.
In knowing the personality of the Kim family, of North Korea's party, how it works, when Kim Jong Un died, they were in a precarious position with China, Russia and the United States. Then the Coronavirus Wuhan hit, and it provided cover for the inner group to assess the situation. The most astute decision Kim Jong Un made was to elevate his sister, Kim Yo Jong as his personal assistant. Without disrespect, the Lame Cherry refers to her as Jo Jo. This is a remarkable woman and the North Korean inner circle knows this, and it appears she was made Regent for the next decades until the eldest so of Kim Jong Un comes of age and become Dear Leader, with the announcement that the heroic Kim Jong Un has succumbed to this life of protecting and serving Koreans.
Most of North Korea is silent. There are party descisions which the press explain and there are missile launches to keep the United States, Japan, South Korea, China and Russia at bay, but when North Korea speaks it is the distinct voice of Jo Jo speaking to the point on security issues. Her main and to the point, point is, "If you test North Korea, North Korea will give you an obliteration war".
With the public appearances of the stand in Kim Jong Un, the nation is on a simple track, the military will continue developing atomic super weapons, to both fuel the economy and protect North Korea. The party will back this Regent for the next generation of the Kim Dynasty which will protect the party and the military.
I do not see Jo Jo being like her Grandfather in asking China to back another Korean War. It does not seem in her mandate to be digging tunnels, shooting at South Korea or kidnapping people. She is in her position protecting Korea and it appears that with the party she is moving ahead with Unism Reforms a Kim Jong Un stamp on the Korea at large. She is going to fulfill what her brother's desires are while preparing for the hand off of power to the heir apparent.
Jo Jo is all Kim. She is intelligent, pays attention to detail and likes pretty things, including her bodyguard crews who look like they all came out of a mould from a special forces school.
What North Korea is navigating is troubled waters. The United States can not be trusted as the money interests are picking fights with China and Russia. Russia can not be trusted as when Putin gets done looking west, Russia is going to start looking east in the same nuclear gambit. China is the same problem in both are eyeing North Korea as a primer for a war with an expendable population to drive America from the penninsula.
North Korea can not look to South Korea, as their leadership is reverting to the 1960's and they love the nuclear bomb. If North Korea does outreach to Japan, then it's support from China is put in jeopardy and both Russia and China may just march into Pyongyang.
North Korea is a great deal like Okinawa Japan in 1945, the last Goddamn place on earth anyone wants to be, as that chunk of land is where the fight to the death will focus.
Besides Jesus, Jo Jo is the best bet North Korea has in these end times. Her's is a world of ruthless decisions as without them one does not survive and something more ruthless comes along. The human part of me would still want to protect her as North Korea has been obliterated enough in it's history.
It is obvious in every photo that she is the one chosen to guide North Korea through this and she is the premium cargo which North Korea is going to protect.
I do not believe that North Korea or the world has the time for this to sort out. With North Korea at the epicenter, Pyongyang realities are certain. China and Russia must obliterate American prescence in the region, that means Okinawa and other bases must be nuked. That means South Korea must be nuked. That means the United States and Japan must nuke Vladivostock, and everything China from the China Sea north, that means North Korea will be hit with plutonium to keep Russia and China out.
In assessing this reality, North Korea has been in preparation mode for war since the last war ended. For what is coming, the leadership of North Korea should expand upon bases, bunkers, tunnel networks and shelters it has been building. For a world war which is being prepared, North Korea would win by simply not fighting it, and sitting behind it's nuclear defenses and hope the crippling effects of technological war by America, China and Russia, degrade their abilities that they would forget all about Pyongyang. There is also a plus for a nuked nation hiding below ground, as no one is going to want to set their invading feet on that kind of glowing real estate.
North Korea has one tight rope walk ahead of her, without the rope. If anyone could pull it off if 운 or un or luck is with Jo Jo. It is why she always looks like she has the weight of the world on her as she has the weight of the world on her.
It is damn hard to tell a Marxist living by their wits to trust in Jesus to deliver them out of a tough spot.
