One thermonuclear detonation will not flood all of England no more than it will flood all of the United States. What will be required for this wall of water would be a series of detonation to form a wave. Obviously more in the United States and fewer in Great England. I have seen projections from Russia, in the detonation being in the north Atlantic. Ireland is the barrier there which would absorb a great deal of that wave as waves BREAK in shallows and on land.

Yes it can be done, but it is important that the wave goes inland, not up or displaces in a circle of 360 degrees. One can just not detonate a thermonuclear warhead and have it go where you want. One example would be a perfect scenario of detonating in front of an undersea wall or mountain range which would assist in directing his wave.
I will not go into the logistics of nuclear splash but in theory one could produce a small detonation to form a moving wall inland, and then detonate the super weapon in front to direct the tidal force inland.

Water dilutes, and in this there is not going to be a concentrated killing effect of cobalt when a wave is containing and diluting that material. If it could be concentrated, such as a harbor detonation in a smaller contained flood wave running through the streets of a coastal city, then that is an amplified nasty problem. The worse effect is a concentrated small wave of 20 feet creating debris, filling sewers, remaining on location is more deadly than a 1500 foot tidal wave.

Everyone always goes big and for the big splash, but if the reports are correct in undersea mines, then Russia would have lesser contamination charges along with these greater charges. For lasting effect, one produces small surges in a metro. For immediate effect, one creates super waves. I'm not going to be specific as I have had enough Homeland interviews over other people's work, but it is highly probable that large metros in harbors would be small waves, leaving contamination to end shipping points, while cut off 1500 foot tidal waves would sweep inland like a siege wave in destroying the infrastructure and people in the surrounding areas. Understand that harbors and inlets break waves and would lessen effect of a large wave. Those involved in these war plans are aware of shores without islands, barriers etc... where the surge would strike with full force of the most effect the longest distance inland.
The prime damage areas for a large thermonuclear event would be deltas, with large river systems and large metro populations.

I will though use a Bavarian Seer who said the Russians would drop a device off Italy for a tidal wave. Italy is a prime area, as Mediterranean waters are shallow and they break right up to the shoreline. Greece has too many islands to absorb tidal force.
On the other side of the Med is Egypt. the Nile Delta is a prime target for a 1500 foot tidal wave as it is shallow, the land of Egypt is flat and the river system has large metro populations at distance. This would break over the Aswan Dam, but such a weapon would be extermination events in Egypt and the non mountain tops of Italy.

Just as Hiroshima was a city is a bowl for maximum detonation effect, one needs structure for nuclear tidal waves. Some geography is prime, some needs some help and some locations would be not viable, as Norway or Austria.
