Getting lots of Ideas
As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
When I was a child, my brother dragged me places I never wanted to go, but you do things when you are young, and suffer for being nice.
JYG is like an older brother to me. We spent the day together as TL had to watch the animals and when I got lots of things to do, two people suffering is not going to solve things, so I was sorting some things out, like I needed a trailer floor so JYG had a pile of tongue and grove Redwood, that he said I could cut up for the floor, so I was cutting up wood.
I had been promised by a former school official, just like my asshole cousins promised to sell me a metal covered trailer, so my wood for the stove would not get wet. I spent last winter drying out all my wood which really pissed me off because my cousins fucked around in not selling me what one said they would. So the school dick said the same thing this year and I asked a second time........and whatever I was not getting jack or shit. So I told JYG I was pissed off about all that waiting and asked him if he had a trailer with a cover on it. He tried selling me an old camper..........I got one of them. Maybe I will get it for other uses, but I was eyeing a former pick up bed with a topper on it.
Finally figured out that JYG was talking about his good brother gave that to him. He said 200 bucks an then he got this idea, and I should know better, but he gets these ideas and I go along with them as I like his adventures but I ache all over after this adventure.
So when we got the mother of all smokers, there was a Chevy pickup without a cab on it. So you know what JYG's idea was. Let's dig this out of the junk pile, and we will make a trailer out of that as JYG had a few toppers out back.
I don't get JYG. He has lots of pick up made trailers.....he has refused to share. So he must like them, even if he never uses them.
So he tells me we will put a ball on this as he cut some tongue off a trailer, showed that to me, and we started pulling this beat to hell Chevy out.
It was interesting as JYG is an artist. This time it was with a torch. So he is cutting things, bolts, oh and before that, the gas tank on the pickup will not come off. Used the skid steer to pull on it, but he ended up cutting the tank band with a chisel.
So he cuts it things off, tries not to blow up shit in gas explosions and we get it apart.
So he drags it back to the welder, and we do more artist stuff in cutting. The wheels are locked. JYG tells me it will be torn apart, beat on the brakes, and if need be will cut the hubs out. He has it all figured out and I just stand there swinging hammers and sledges as fun exercises.
He welds the tongue on. Does this really cool thing in slicing the U frame of the pickup, bends them in at an angle and voila you have a lovely trailer tongue that will haul a ton of wood literally.
OK so it got dark.
Next episode in the adventure, and JYG does enjoy his time with me. He offers me A & W Root beer and he does not give that stuff away. I like him allot. I would that people would treat him better. That is personal stuff, but he is one of the best people I know, always helps me out and the wood he sold me for 50 bucks, I gave 60 as last time I checked which was before all this Goddamn inflation was that horse trailer floors were 600 bucks for Redwood flooring. So I got a floor to fit in this trailer and you can not get tongue and groove Redwood now on the non donations I get.
OK, next episode, TL and I get to use the bead breaker on bead breaker machine JYG has. I hate doing tires. JYG thrives on it, but will get tires that are not flat on our new wood trailer. Figure out about the locked wheels, and put the topper on, probably have to bolt it down.
So I got home at dark. It was cold. had nothing tied down, but it rode solid, including the old freezer we piled on top. That is another adventure.
I already hear the whispers, not from you, but inside of me. The whisper says, "Tell TL that this is really a neat beat to hell trailer, It would be really fun to put sleeping bags in it and camp out over night."
Yes but I need my wood under cover so it does not get wet. I know that, but this looks like something fun. Pile in the pets, some guns for protection and I think this might be a really adventurous beat to hell contraption.
Pull this son of a bitch wagon anyplace. And hell, it is beat to hell, so how would I know if it was beat to hell more or not as it is already worn in. I can see lots of fun in this.
Is a tough position to be in, as JYG's brother's pickup trailer was very pretty. The kind you could take someplace and not be ashamed for being a rag picker. Mine...........well yes it has shame written all over it, but it had a hard life as JYG likes spearing things when he loads things and he really beats the hell out of stuff as part of his fun. Am surprised it was just beat to hell this much instead of really beat to hell.
Oh he used the forks on the skid steer to straighten the bed out. And you know what, the end gate actually shut better than it did before. Told you he is an artist. If he as a doctor he would cure lots of things as he has lots of skill.
So that is something I should have known better to get involved in. Is hard though with JYG as he is an artist and has lots of good ideas. Maybe when the mother's Goddamn weather stripping on the door sliced me wide open as I was about to leave and bled like I got tooth pulled all the way to town, might have been a harbinger of the big day, but I figure it was some evil shit that was pissed off that I was not standing around waiting for assholes to make my life easier, you know like non donors who learn to donate. Not going to have wet wood and held hostage by that shit.
Ok I don't feel so much like shit after my big day at the moment as am rehydrating. Dropped a vice on my shin. I think the word is a big contusion as it swelled up to a lump and hurts some. Will probably work on the trailer tomorrow. With Holy Angel help would get done. Is an old Hale trailer though the old man had. Need to do some shit to it, little welding too. It is sound as the old man got a beat to hell trailer, think it was like 1600 dollars which was allot for a beat to hell trailer, and then he beat the hell out of it as the professionals welded on it and I did allot of welding on it too. So it is pretty tuned up and it just needs basically new furniture.
