Most of you know Casablanca as the film, but Casablanca was the historic site of one of these most reprehensible acts committed by the myriad of loathsome despots thee American People have been conned into leading them.
What was taking place at Casablanca which is the French Peoples land, was Frank Roosevelt decided to be dictator and take Algeria from France, and then to remove the chosen French leader in General Charles de Gaulle for Roosevelts patsy, the pro Nazi vichy France leader of General Henri Giraud.
Just so you get this, Adolf Hitler was the worst human in the world and Frank Roosevelt was allied with the pro Nazi Vichy France and was intent on installing a member of this pro Nazi regime into Free France Algeria without consulting the French People.
For all the bullshit about Frank Roosevelt and democracy, he was nothing but a petty dictator who was not one iota different from that butcher Joe Stalin or the maligned Adolf Hitler. Same exact policies.

The story was that at the first conference de Gaulle compared himself to Clemenceau, while the next conference he indicated that Joan of Arc was perhaps more his prototype, and the President is alleged to have said to de Gaulle that he should make up his mind which one of these he was really like because he surely could not be like both of them.
The story is pure fiction..... although I heard the President tell the story.

The entire Algerian trip was meant to intimidate and crush Free France. de Gaulle was flown in, met with armed American guards, he was debased with low level Roosevelt operatives and not welcomed as the leader of Free France. The American car he was put into, had mud smeared on the windows to hide the fact that General de Gaulle was in FRENCH ALGERIA.
General de Gaulle asked if he was a prisoner. He was abused and maligned and then the real character of Frank Roosevelt appeared, in Roosevelt made up stories about Charles de Gaulle and repeated them that his staff knew were lies.
The question is, "Are you proud of this unAmerican display in your name, of the misuse of the Secret Service and the pointing of weapons to intimidate another leader?"
Ask yourself if one of these agents made a mistake as they shoot themselves often enough with their own weapons if they had shot Charles de Gaulle or perhaps shot Frank Roosevelt? This is beyond unprofessional misbehavior from President Roosevelt to each agent. Roosevelt on this trip was thought of as a "school boy on a trip". He did not take the situation serious and instead acted the playground bully.
Roosevelt went on to cause more problems in meeting with the Muslim leader of Algeria and telling him, "We are going to set you free", all without consulting the French. Imagine if Charles de Gaulle had met with the American Indians and Hawaiians and told them, "Never mind the United States, we are going to set you free and you get all your land back".
Now do you understand how reprehensible Frank Roosevelt was and that monument to his despotic cancer on history and America is the kind of black mark which led to creatures like Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden installed as Pied Pipers to lead thee American lemmings over the cliff.
