Abraham Lincoln as much as General Ben Butler, a Democrat and military governor of Maryland suspended the right of the courts and people who were involved in anti government activities to have their day in court. While Mr. Trump is not even advocating such measures, the Lame Cherry desires you to return to 1861, in the words of a daughter of the Governor Of Maryland in Miss Ann Ellis Carroll who produced a pamphlet called, THE WAR POWERS OF THE GOVERNMENT.
President Lincoln thought so much of the work that the Department of State reprinted it and distributed it to Congress and invited Miss Carroll to the White House, who after meeting Mr. Lincoln, wrote another political volume entitled, THE RELATION OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT TO THE REVOLTED CITIZEN.
Miss Carroll was a quoted advocate of the radical abolitionist Senator Sumner who wanted to exterminate the Southern Planter. His ideas were circulated out of Congress that Southerners should have all property confiscated, but not killed, so they would be doomed to poverty or exile to wear them out.
One can see allot of George W. Bush's Patriot Act legalities and Barack Hussein Obama FISA Courts in the ideas of some people then.
What is of interest in this, is something which Miss Carroll focused upon as a threat to America and it was not found in Lincoln being a dictator or tyrant, but in Congress.
This quote is interesting in how she was the first to establish that Congress could rise to become a destroyer of the Republic.

We begin to comprehend what Miss Carroll was predicting. The People's House could be corrupted and it has been corrupted by bribes from the conglomerates and financiers, whose bribes then have Congress extricate money for their plunder from the Treasury, all the while enabling the police state, military and federal to intimidate, hunt down and ban Americans, to keep that despot control.
The power of the purse has become nothing but weaponized plunder of Americans as unConstitutional Laws are enacted for Obamacare to ration death to Americans. There is no oversight in Congress, because the very police state knows it is protecting the despots there and refuses to respect the oversight of Congress.
This blog has alone stated that the power of the purse of Congress must be remedied by the power of the Executive in the US Treasury, to not sigh the checks to pay the bills with money Congress is looting America for it's controllers. One can not create an entire new division of armed IRS agents, if the Treasure does not buy the guns or sign the paychecks.

At the present, Congress is a despotic body. It provides no legal check on the Dictatorship of Joe Biden nor the rubber stamp of tyranny by the Bunghole Roberts Supreme Court. We can debate the future of the yet to be Donald Trump as a Dictator, but we have before us a Congress which is a criminal body in complete outlaw status of the Constitution. The public is held hostage by this group of 435 for years, whether it was the fiction of John McCain's renegade few or the Ziongelicals dripping with worship of Tel Aviv and Kiev with none responding for America.

Miss Carroll was correct as Abraham Lincoln noted, a president can do limited harm to a country because his time is short and he is but one man. The real threat are these perpetual hordes in Congress of 435 political whores paid for at district level and leveling Washington City with their 30 pieces of silver.
