I actually thought enough of this to post on it and that says allot from me.
I like only large shot on shotguns. I have no time for anyone shooting small shot at large birds in their warped ideas. I will post what I like for most birds, and yes this means lead shot as when the world melts down, steel shot is going to disappear like government agencies.
BB's, I like for turkeys, geese and they have been known to be of use on sage grouse and pheasants.
I like 2's for most shooting.
I will go lower in 4,5, 6's for close work on grouse sized things but consider pigeons best shot with 6 shot.
Doves I shoot with 7 1/2 shot as they fly through 6 shot pattern or I would shoot that.
In stating that, I always thought for that worthless 410 that 2 shot would be a good load. The reason being that there is so few shot even in 4, 6 and 8, you might as well shoot things with a few larger pellets to do the damage than smaller ones which do not penetrate.
That brings me to this post.
As the globalists shut down 410 production, I had to search hard for ammo in prepping. I found an Italian firm that only had 6 shot, so I got that..........and then I came across American Tactical, loaded with Triple B lead shot. So you know, these loadings are meant for 410 pistol shotguns to kill people. I think Winchester has some BB and discs and Remington which requires a background check on ammo, which is why I swore of Remington uses 3 buck shot in their defense loads.
The 410 is not a 30 yard load. It is more a 30 feet load so I do not really look at patterns as the pattern will hold at short ranges. That is where I saw these magnificent AT BBB loads in their clear plastic cases looked just like the thing for pot gun killing, meaning rabbits at a longer distance and shooting things in the head at distance for turkeys and geese and this would be a very nice pheasant load to shoot them on the set as you drove by on the road. The point is for prepping in not allot of loud noise and a killer shot.
Now I still would love 410's in 2 shot, but I'm fast falling in love with this BBB world for the 410 as it like bringing a monster truck to a go cart derby.
This all interests me as this is not woke shit, with the industry run out of hedge funds and Europe with their heads up their asses. This is a real load with hunting potential for surviving the big bang.
I only would that I had cases of this stuff as I'm not interested in killing people ever, just in something light which I will be carrying that is defense if necessary, but is for making animals I come across into food.
I know if I ruled the roost that 90% of ammo would be loaded in BB's and 2's, with the other 10 percent in slugs, 7........no I would create a 6 1/2 shot and see how that greased quail and doves and the rest people killing buckshot.\
Ok you whiners you can have some 4 shot for teal and grouse, but that is the limit I will go. Raise chicken if you can't shoot any better than that with lead shot.
That is enough gushing over this as I doubt I will be getting cases of shells over this kind of praise.
One more thing, I put the same clothes to carry this in a stock holder that velcro wraps around, will hold 7 shells, plus a pouch for things, it is an AT single shot shotgun too, not a 1000 shot gun, but I kill things to eat and even living to 1063 years old am I going to be shooting a 1000 animals.
