The above map is an illustration of the Russian army moving forward in occupying 1 kilo deep into Kupyansk in the Kharkov oblast.
The military people on the Lame Cherry will recognize this as something which should never be engaged in, as the counter attack would cut off this salient, surround it and kill it. The Russians NEVER conduct battles this way.
So what does this conclude. The Russian recon in force squads located a gaping hole in the Ukrainian lines, due to desertions. They not only felt comfortable in exploiting it, but they announced it to the world in where they were. This means the Ukrainian line has no reserves, no drones, not continuity to do a thing about what just took place.
Remember Hitler at the Battle of the Bulge. The Nazi's ran out of steam, and were then pounded back by Patton's Army. This is not that large of bulge, but a gap, but for this to have taken place at a major area in Kupyansk, foretells the complete deterioration of the Ukrainian lines. This rot is not going to be stopped.
I do not know what the Russian CYCLONE 3 will unleash, but what you are witnessing is something light motorized units could run through there lines and keep running. Russia took almost a mile of real estate. Compare that to the meters it was speaking of just a year ago.
It will be interesting to observe what kind of shit through a goose the Russians will advance with as everything I'm seeing is screaming for a smashing blow to capture this Ukrainian army and keep driving to Kiev.
