Solid Like A Rock

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

So God provided for me my aluminum pick up tool box, but I was looking at it and you had to drill holes in the box to fasten it down. I was not in a mood to do that as this pick up has enough holes in it, so the Holy Ghost Inspired me to an idea which worked.

I included pictures in this million dollar solution.

Meet you on the other side.

This is the front of the box of the pick up by the cab. What I did is drill a hole in the box, used a small 3 inch fastener, which had an eye bolt on top, and put in a 1/4 inch bolt, with washer on the outside, and on the inside a larger washer, to give more support to the aluminum, a   quarter inch washer and a lock washer to keep things tight
On the bottom I used a lap link to hook on the lip of the box.
For the bottom, I used a larger 4 inch fastener, but without the lap link as the hook on the fastener could fasten to the lip of the box, and I just tightened it all up and it is solid as a rock.

I like this as the pick up did not have more holes drilled in it, This was a 15 dollar tool box from a garage sale which I'm thankful to God for, as they are expensive in buying them. I did not get the key with this, but am thinking of contacting the manufacturer and getting one. I'm not prone to locking things as then they do not want to open up and that ruins things.

I do not think this will ever shift as I was rocking the pick up in pulling on it, and even in a crash I do not believe this would come loose, God forbid on any crash.

It is just a God Inspired fix for things and now you know how to fix things.

I only have a standard cab on this pick up, so I need to store my jack, tools and two rope in this box and that weight alone will help hold it in place.

Like the name, Solid Like A Rock
