I have been working on a revolutionary coyote wolf snare system for awhile, well not awhile, because I have had the design, but not the time nor resources to put it together. That changed today in JYG got in a trailer load of chit, and in it was the component I was looking for in rerod.
I don't think I am going to post on what I created as I have judged that the trapping group is not like the old days. Yes it always was a bunch of snake oil salesmen selling things to young suckers, but if you look at what is running trapping sites, it is really a group of left wing control freaks.
Again awhile back I was on a comment site and these two trolls started a thread. No one commented, but the first thing I thought of was that these were FBI minders phishing for bites. The feel was just off and they were left to do their thing, which means the site owner knew who they were and let this bait and entrapment take place.
For most people who snare, they put out lots of snares. I do not think that is economical, an I also do not like things hanging wire all over the place. My ADC guy is a pretty good snaresmen. He catches target animals and only hangs a few snares. That is all good unless the pattern changes and then it is you have to move on. I don't want to do that.
The reason I do snaring is to protect our cats who always get into traps. You can rig a snare to not catch cats. The breakaways in this keep deer free and clear too.
Most of this post is just about me muddling things over in my mind. JYG got me the most critical part. It was cold as the Arctic when we sorted through things, which I did not like nor appreciate. I have to get the main platform of this rig yet, and then do some welding and I think we will be good to go then. That is the hard part in the set up will be a breeze, a portable breeze, as that is why I am doing things this way.
This will never really be a longlinger system. Just too much weight involved, but it would be a matter of laying out the line and then setting it up, so the weight would always stay on location. Does not really matter to me as I doubt I will ever be marketing the system or whoring books as I just do not have that kind of soulless greed to run a trapping business or site.
My plan is to do a dozen of these contraptions and set them out in a sort or permanent set up. I like dead coyotes as much in summer as winter.
The deader they are, the better they are, only thing best if they were all dead like in the good olde days.
Someday someone will probably see the system and steal it. Someday you will read about this new yote system and it will be mine and the huckster will be selling it as their system to more fools.
I though am mostly setting up for the end times, as the Bible says the wild beasts will be devouring a whole lot of people, and there are only two effective means to kill predators, one is poison which is outlawed and the other is snaring.
So I was Inspired by this system and you are going to be left wondering what it is. That is just the way it is as most of you would not know where to begin in protecting your livestock or selves, and that again, is the way it is.
Someone will figure out the portable tree as that says it all.
