It is just early summer as I type this and I have been following the comments of a good catholic who has died, and I have mentioned this elsewhere, but for this one, as a Protestant Christian, this can not go unanswered as it is a slap at Jesus the Christ, but then that is what the catholics do every moment of their deluded existence in worshipping the dead, adoring a pope and fixating on their power as the Vatican as a government in this world........Jesus in the Revelation calls them the Whore of Babylon because they fornicate with world regimes for power.

I never met this woman, never spoke to her. I have read of other's interactions with her and in forensic psychology she manifested as the psychology who asks how you are, to make you think she cares to elevate her position. The people who commented were not of the lower classes, except those she kept around as pets. They were not of the upper caste which would indicate they could not stand her pompous catholicism. Empathy and sympathy are cheap, and that is why she dispensed with it, as she surrounded herself with luxury. She died in a geezer home that was priced at 6400 dollars a month.

The Bible teaches thee exact opposite and to even say some shit like that is spitting on Jesus dying on the Cross for all of our sins. No one earns a place in Heaven. The Holy Ghost as I was contemplating this in real non humor, gave me the Bible verse I memorized in German Lutheran Confirmation classes two years, and years ago, as that is what is a Gift from God in you learn Bible verses and the Holy Ghost will roll them out when the time comes they are needed.

I'm going to go into this more so you understand this. Grace is an unearned Gift from God. You can't buy the Holy Ghost, you can't bribe God, you can't do anything to fix things with God, because you are born as skin and bone and God is Spirit. He puts a Soul into you, which is like a greenhouse, where when you invite the Holy Ghost in after Faith and Confession, the Holy Ghost plants Himself into you and you begin growing as a Spirit, a Light of God.
That is why you do not reject God after you are saved and the Spirit is in you as there is no going back. Light becoming darkness is like demons. They do not die, they are tormented eternally in the Lake of Fire.
Faith is, as it is written, Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God and believing He is thee only One Who can restore you to the Spirit, as you discipline yourself in the Law of God to prove the walk and grow in the Nurture and Admonition of the Lord, is what follows Faith.
All of us have fallen short of the Glory of God, but Jesus is our Advocate with the Father Who carries us and makes our failures disappear. Failure is not deliberate sin. Deliberate sin is not fighting to stop doing things wrong. Failure is being imperfect and growing to perfection in the Lord.
We have a part in this. We confess that we sin and need Christ to restore us daily. We profess Jesus as our Lord and Savior. This is the Gift of God, nothing we can earn or achieve on our own. We do not have Spiritual Blood in us. Christ is that Spiritual Blood and by Him we are given eternal Life, by the Living Water Who He is.
This then comes to the last part of the verse, lest any man should boast.
In reviewing the good catholic,, I mentioned that it appeared the pope owned her womb, and her family was a bi product. This appears to me to have been a woman like most catholics, preening on the stage of how much better they were than others. She learned how to nice her way to adoration.
There was not one mention of Jesus the Christ. Nothing about Christ being the Resurrection and the Life. It was nothing but boasting on all she did and boasting of how wonderful the dupes thought she was.
I have pondered this and asked Christ how He eyed all of this, but have not had an answer, unless the above quote was the summation of all of this. These people are all saying they deserved eternal Life, when the fact is as Martin Luther opens the Catechism, teaches we deserve nothing but God's wrath and eternal punishment.
I came across in this another mention of this gal's daughter who I was once close to in school. The writer said that the above person had to be wonderful because the daughter was so wonderful. That brought to mind two instances over the years which I still find amusing.
I make a point to do Brier Patch camo. I will not explain what I do, but I do blend in well as a local. I pulled up once on as street, got out and was going to the bank. There was this daughter walking toward me. She had no clue who I was, but the look in her eyes was nothing but contempt for "someone like me"
Second round, I was with the mother in a pharmacy and this was a few years later. I had on bib overalls, my hair was down, farmer cap, and Lord God, the hate this woman had in her eyes at me, and she did not have a clue that she knew me or who I was.
I did not react in either case. Sure it was dagger hurt, but I really found it amusing in how the judgmental, holier than thou, contempt, exists in this person. Yes the person praising her got to see the catholic nice, because it was a money situation. There is a big difference when it comes to people she has no use for..........but God is using.
This gals husband is the same piece of work. He swindled his way into jobs and then dumped the employers he swindled to move up the food chain. I did not appreciate that and as he invaded one of the places I happened to be, I got rather too loud in explaining what a fraud this guy was to TL, as he sat with a preacher..........I was effective in he gave me the pussy bird...........you know the fem version of not having the balls to flip you off so they scratch their cheek?
I was amused as I got that kind of reaction. An upstanding member of the community with this pastor sitting there and he flips me the bird. No turn the other cheek there.
I will admit in my being carried by Christ that I have failed. I was just as sneering as the woman hating on me, but the Holy Ghost brought to my mind once, in "Angels unaware", and from that point on I do my best to be polite, hold doors, be helpful to everyone, no matter what they look like. Yes I do not cuddle up with weirdos and there allot of weirdos, but I'm always respectful of people.........but yes I do make commentary like the red head we saw in the parking lot who either was a vampire in being so pale or had a disease. I'm still a product in the works in getting better in this shit storm which is my existence, but the absolute in my Christian is that Jesus earned a place for me in Heaven. Good works on my behalf a treasures stored in Heaven, but this is all Jesus and I know enough not to boast on any of my merits as compared to God, they are all filth.
