Cocooned in Abstentia

O'Donnell arranged President Kennedy's trip to Dallas in November 1963 and was in a car just behind the president's limousine when Kennedy was assassinated. Kennedy's death was an enormous blow to O'Donnell, who long blamed himself for the assassination.

On May 18, 1964, O'Donnell provided testimony to Norman Redlich and Arlen Specter, assistant counsel for the Warren Commission. O'Donnell stated that it was his impression that the shots fired at Kennedy came from the right rear. In their memoir of Kennedy, Johnny, We Hardly Knew Ye, both O'Donnell and David Powers reported hearing only three shots and did not offer any speculation as to their origin. According to a June 15, 1975 report in the Chicago Tribune, an unnamed "Central Intelligence Agency liaison man" told Congressmen that O'Donnell and David Powers had initially told assassination investigators that the shots that struck Kennedy came from a location other than the Texas School Book Depository, but that the two men were convinced, reportedly by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover or his top aides, to alter their accounts to the Warren Commission to avoid the possibility of revealing the CIA's plots to kill Fidel Castro which might lead to an international incident.

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

As I have stated, I have admired General Vernon Walters from the first time I saw this fat old man in video and wondered why on earth President Ronald Reagan chose him. It was in reading his memoirs that I have come across some bits  of information which were and are highly valuable to understanding the world.

In his chapter on Watergate, he had been appointed by President Richard Nixon as Deputy Director and that is how he rubbed against this coup against President Nixon. Walters concluded that this was a few mid level operatives in the White House who screwed up, and then in trying to protect the President caused a disaster. I will get to that more later, but it is the quote below which stunned me in the assessment by Vernon Walters that the CIA or the intelligence community in the DIA could never be used to bring down the United States, because it has to operate non partisan and there were more democrats than Republicans in the midst.

Leap forward to the illegitimate Barack Hussein Obama, installed by British intelligence into the White House, and more to the point, how Obama weaponized the Government against Americans, and how CIA Director John Brennan was illegally running operations as Russiagate out of the FBI with Direct James Comey allowing it to happen.

Meet you on the other side.

The value of the CIA to the nation arose from the fact that it was a non-partisan organization. It did not support either of the parties. It served the United States government regard¬ less of the personal opinions of those who served there. If it were to become involved in any partisan political activity, it would lose all value to the President and to the nation. These arguments seemed to make some impression on him. I pressed home the fact that there was no way I could see the agency becoming in any way involved in this matter. There was no agency involvement and I could not see any way in which it could be of assistance. I knew that the personnel in the agency broadly reflected the political divisions in the United States.

There were probably more Democrats there than Republicans, and it would be absolutely impossible to use the agency for partisan political purposes without it flying apart at the seams.

So the CIA of the mid 1970's according to Vernon Walters could never be used as it was in the Obama time, and yet, John Kennedy was going to destroy the CIA for the threat it had become to America. So into this Walter's assessment we have something in Watergate of a group of CIA assets, who all had been involved in their group in Dallas 1963, appearing at the Watergate hotel and being caught in a break in at the DNC offices there.

CIA proper appears to not to have known, but then we have Dallas 1963 appearing to having rubbed up to that event with their people, who were working for someone.

I believe General Walters is correct that the Nixon aides, Halderman, Erlichman and Dean were all operatives who engaged in a political operation for the re election of the President, but something went wrong, as someone was running this operation to get Richard Nixon and the operatives got in over their head in the set up.

I remember a 1980's article I read in Playboy, yes I did read the articles in that magazine and some were quite good. The thesis in this article was Watergate, and it focused on a purported Richard Nixon fixation that a Kennedy and then Johnson aide, named Kenneth O'Donnell had some major political dirt on Richard Nixon. This dirt which Nixon was concerned about was his friend Bebe Robozo, yes sounds like a clown name, but it was about money that was funnelled to Richard Nixon and Nixon did not want this exposed. For the record, another article in Playboy on Howard Hughes stated after RFK was assassinated that he was going to try and buy the Demcorat party which his handlers, Bob Mayhew stopped, so Hughes gave a million dollars in cash to Richard Nixon and Hubert Humphrey. It was not exactly anything out of the ordinary which was going on.

This O'Donnell was a real prick, as even General Walters bumped up to him and Kennedy press secretary Pierre Salinger in Paris. This duo removed Walters as interpreter for Kennedy, because he had worked for Eisenhower......he worked for Truman too, but that is how rabid this group was, and it would make sense that Nixon was wondering what dirt the Kennedy's democrats had on him to install communist George McGovern.

As I have stated, I think Richard Nixon knew what happened to his friend  John Kennedy in Dallas. He kept his mouth shut to not get shot too, but Nixon's policies of detente with the Soviets, a sound American economy, ending Vietnam were Kennedy policies which would have taken billions from the inside players who started this drama.

It is obvious that the press, which the CIA controlled in Mockingbird was unleashed on Richard Nixon, because they were ordered to. Nixon was cutting into the pie as Kennedy had. We all watched that Russiagate bullshit, and saw the same Watergate smears appear. The short of it was that this internal management group produced a coup on Richard Nixon. There were leaks galore. Bob Woodward was an NIA asset.

Someone fed Richard Nixon the bait on Ken O'Donnell and Nixon enlisted these CIA assets or his people did to get the information. It was a set up, and they were caught and those behind it, kept running the Mockingbird to inflame it and when what appears as CIA asset Alexander Butterfield told CIA asset Senator Howard Dean that there were recordings in the White House, the entire maelstrom was unleashed.

I believe Mr. Nixon harbors the idea that someone in the CIA tried to do him in, or acted in some way against him. He is wrong in this belief. The CIA simply could not act against any President. The people in the organization simply would not tol¬ erate it.

The reason President Nixon came to that conclusion is because he knew the shadowlands set him up.

When General Walters visited Richard Nixon later in California, this exchange took place.

In San Clemente when he asked me what he should have done, I said that if I could have reached him after the Water¬ gate break-in, I would have told him what I told John Dean, “Fire everyone connected with this.” I told him that he had been completely isolated either through his own action or that of his entourage. He nodded thoughtfully.

Richard Nixon would have fired these people if he could have. The problem is that if he had fired the people, then what they were looking for was going to come out in the Bebe Robozo funding.  By that time though, the President knew he had a coup being unleashed against him by all of these CIA assets in every faction of media and politics.  The best he could do was hang on until there was no more room, and then resign, and know that Vice President Gerald Ford, another Dallas 1963 investigator would pardon President Nixon, and close the book on the operation as Richard Nixon had kept his mouth shut.

So Vernon Walters was naively honest in not seeing the entire picture of some information baited Richard Nixon in, and the entire Get Kennedy CIA off book operational group was enlisted in this. Watergate therefore was really 3 parts.

Richard Nixon running an election campaign.

The mid level operatives who listened to the whispers of how to run a break in.

The cover up by the mid level operatives which sucked in a President who knew what they were looking for that Ken O'Donnell did not legally obtain as he was not law enforcement, and if it was a crime which it was not, he should have turned it over to the FBI, but instead he intended to overthrow the elections with the information, but when the shadowlands appeared, they got Richard Nixon more thoroughly than an election loss.

We all have been played by this too many times to know that Vernon Walters did not assess this in his honesty of what the CIA was capable of in the shadows against Americans.

Ken O'Donnell was running the CIA assassination operation against Fidel Castro. He blamed himself for JFK's assassination. He was trying to get Bobby Kennedy elected to make up for it, his best friend, who just got assassinated, so Richard Nixon won the presidency.

We are wiser now, but this thing is still out there operating and not punished.
