As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.
I certainly appreciate with the non donors buying their express tickets to hell for them and their families that God moves cranky old broads in the Thrift to shake things out in my direction.
So I was in the Thrift and looking for baking tins or aluminum to make a bird feeder or fix one, and wandered to the men's section and I see these boots which are kind of rough used on the toe. I picked them up, and thought "These are insulated". Except for some clay shit on the soles they were in pretty good shape. Just a changed out shoe lace that I had to thread.
I checked the price at 6 bucks and the size was withing my clomping around margins, and saw they were Georgia Boots and that sounded familiar and expensive, so I picked them up and showed them to TL, along with the flannel sheet set I found for 5 bucks.
So brought them home, and had some old mink oil, that is not mink oil, but sheep lard or something and lathered that on by hand which helped my cracked fingers, and threaded them up, got lard on my flannel lined pants, and took them for a test outside and they felt good. The dead guy had fat feet, so he had stretched them out so they are comfy.
I checked on line and found the pair as they have that kiltie thing on the laces, and price was 187 bucks.
That thank God worked out ok. I still think these are insulated, as they are cushiony. Any way, that was a really good shoe deal from God for the epic collapse.
You got a ticket to ride to hell, and I got boots to tread upon this earth doing the Lord's work.
Amen and Amen
