The examination of the Civil War has a beginning and an end, but it has not focused upon the day that Dixie died, because it was a day which was evident and the greatest dichotomy of this, it took place with a Southern victory in the harshest combat of the war.
Everyone knows of Bull Run, Antietam, Gettysburg, Vicksburg and Appomattox. The real essence of the Civil War, took place amongst Lincoln's own kindred in what he focused upon from the start and could not get any remonstration of grace from the army. It was here that General Sherman asking for more troops was called crazy by the jealousy of the McClellan clique on the Potomac. It was here after early liberating success, that General Rosecrans a devout Catholic, would build the Army of the Cumberland, not send troops to help the distressed Grant at Vickburg, holding off Pemberton, Johnston and Bragg.
After the defeat of Lee at Gettysburg the dream of the invasion of the north, became the tactical necessity of the Confederacy acquiring Kentucky and Tennessee from the Union and using this springboard to threaten Ohio.
In this General Braxton Bragg would move his forces forward, with General Robert E. Lee cannibalizing his own Army of Northern Virginia in the cream of his corps in General James Longstreet and one Lee's ablest officers in General Daniel H. Hill.
Bragg moved brilliantly forward to surprise Rosecrans. In the fighting Bragg crushed 2/3rds of the Army of the Cumberland. Rosecrans and his officers fled back to Chattanooga. The South was on the cusp of their Confederate reality, when a Virginian, loyal to the Union, once again took the battle in hand. His name was General George Thomas, a rather sedate and quiet man, he would as the Army of the Cumberland fled, command his forces at a horseshoe shaped defense, outnumbered two to one, and he stopped Bragg's army. He not only stopped Bragg's army, he saved the Union.
Rosecrans would wire Lincoln about the grave state he was in. Lincoln would say that Bragg was telling people things did not go so good as the South lost 18,000 men. Bragg would continue on in cutting the Union supplies, but something had changed.
At the start of the secession and war, Confederate belles drove the men. They withheld their vaginas from the Confederate men literally. Either the Southern man joined the military or they were not going be spooning, courting, marrying or having sex with Southern women from that point on. This was the basis of this great energy the South was moved by. It was female generated.
It was General Daniel Hill who noted what took place after Chickamauga. Before that battle, Hill noted the Southern Dash was a complete part of the Southern man. After Chickamauga, Hill stated the Southern man was a quitter. In this, the Davis government made appeals after this to Southern women to start turning in their men who were AWOL. The women had turned against the cause.
When the Southern Soldier was stopped and asked for his pass from the front, they would pat their rifles and say, "This is my furlough".
Dixie died on September 20th, 1863 AD in the year of our Lord in the victory of Chickamauga. For whatever reason in time, after Confederate victories, the defeats of Gettysburg and Vicksburg did not matter, but in Tennessee the will broke. There were then more disserts which if returned would equal the entire Union army.
There came after this a fatalism to the Southern Army, a do and a die, that they would not quit, but that death was preferable for those who stayed in the army and seeking favor for Unionism in those who went home.
The South had entered a war of ideals without the means to fight that war. The South was led by planters who had a Cavalier set of natural warriors who were the greatest natural army the world ever produced. After Chickamauga, that part of the South died. It did not need to be exterminated in the flesh, because it broke the will of the people to fight for a generation.
God put the slave Israelites into the wilderness for 40 years to rid that mentality from that people. America faces such a reality now in the fiction of the liberal which has proven without base of ideology, and the current administration is going to have to break it. Where that break point will come is on some day no one yet knows, but it will come, and a future generation will point to that day, and say that is the day that delusional movement died.
The South will rise again under President Donald Trump, for in the South are the White Race who will form the last military defense of the United States, and as long as that population is not wasted in death wars, they will arise to the dominant race with the Saxons of what will be the Trump legacy.
